Phase II 2020-0200 Clinical Trial
Hello everyone, I was diagnosed in May 2021 at 50 years old. PSA 426/Gleason 8. Had been on Abiraterone Acetate (AA) along with Lupron and Prednisone. My PSA dropped to 0.1 until recently I became castrate resistant. I was advised by my team at MD Anderson that my cancer was a strong variant type.

Hi fellow sufferers.
I am new here but have suffered from wet AMD since January 2021 and have had several injections of Eylea in both eyes since. I am currently stable and on an 8 week re-check each time. I also suffer from diplopia (double vision) and this eye problem conflicts with the AMD disease making it difficult

Ocular hypertension
I have ocular hypertension and narrow angles. I have had a successful iridotomy but my pressures remain between 20-30 . Never higher and never lower. My glaucoma consultant whom I saw this week is happy. My eyes are stable. Good visual fields. No optic nerve damage. I use Tiopex and Latanopost drops

Mirtazapine
I took 30mg M for 18 months for anxiety. I decided to reduce the amount myself by halving it & then quartering it. It’s pretty powerful even on smaller amounts. I reduced the amount gradually but did not get withdrawal symptoms. I was eventually told to try for 2 weeks then finish. Because I quartered

putting down the burden
I have been practising albeit a bit as hoc putting things weighing me down into an imaginary bag and putting the heavy burden of that bag down. Knowing it’s still mine and I can retreive it should I want to at any time. I know this sounds simplistic but I simply couldn’t live with carrying it all around

My Current Struggle Is Food
This is what I am struggling with most at the moment. It's sort of like not wanting to eat when you are depressed. My depression is currently under control with my medication, but I am still struggling to get the right nutrition from week to week. Living by myself and supporting myself has been a learning

FDA Panel Rejects Broad Olaparib Indication in Metastatic CRPC — ODAC votes that olaparib-abiraterone comb be restricted to BRCA+ subset
Possible good news on the way for BRCA-mutated PCa patients. In this instance, it seems the ODAC actually read the results of the clinical trial and understood the efficacy (as indicated in the actual trial results) was limited to BRCA-mutated patients. * * * [i]

Any substitute for Bupropion?
Hi All. I was on Citalopram for depression, but that made my RLS worse. So Professor Walker at Queens Square suggested Bupropion as a substitute. I have just found out from my Pharmacy that Bupropion is no longer manufactured (so they say). I e-mailed Professor Walker yesterday for another substitute

Seeing an MPN Specialist tomorrow!
I have an appointment at Stanford with an MPN Specialist tomorrow. Going on 5 years with ET+CALR and currently taking aspirin and 2 pills of Hydrea daily AND 90mcg of Pegasys once a week. We are in a transitional period right now and I will eventually just be taking Pegasys and aspirin. Took my 4th dose
