A New Milestone
I would like to share some good news. On Wednesday I had my review with my Oncologist for my annual MRI scan. The result of the scan was that my brain was sound and there was no sign of any disease; we are all delighted with the result. Such a result is a major milestone in my journey as in September

We didn't have any options left. Started clinical trial RO7656594 May 14. Scans were done June 27. Showed progression in bones and liver. We knew it wasn't working around the time the scans were done. Pain was increasing. Difficulty eating. Mobility issues starting July 3. Confusion also starting. Talked

Hi, looking for advice on trials, please. I was diagnosed stage IIIc in Nov 2020. Debulking surgery, then 6 cycles of taxol and Carboplatin - the latter 3 with bevacizumab. Followed by 18 months of Olaparib which then stopped working late last year. At the beginning of this year, I started on Caelyx

Large FMD Study on Specialised Physio
Like most studies there were some limitations: this happens in large randomized
clinical
trials
—where the main outcome measure does not reflect a statically significant difference. And it definitely shows the many challenges of a large RCT in a very heterogeneous population.

Another antibody for CALR is in clinical trials
Hi All, I just heard about another antibody treatment for CALR MF and ET that is in
clinical
trials
with Janssen (J&J). Incyte of course also has one in the clinic (also Phase 1). This is very good news. It's still early days but nice to see another potential treatment option being tested.

GCA candidate Tremfya fails to meet clinical trial objectives
Here in the US, Johnson & Johnson announced today it is halting its Phase 2 "THEIA" trial as the numbers of enrolled GCA patients did not, unfortunately, achieve the level of remission hoped for. If you're inclined to read the technical details, you can google Janssen Rheumatology's data.

Zanubrutinib or Venetaclax with Gazyva??
Can everyone please tell me their experience with these treatments? I’ve been given the options of either if trial not ready. I was suppose to start a phase 3 clinical trial at Moffitt but it’s been delayed at least 3-4 weeks and I may need to start treatment sooner. Thanks in advance….
