Blood results after starting Levo. advice please
Just had my first blood test after starting Levo back in January. (Last couple of years my vit D and B 12 was low, TSH was borderline at 4.9, and cholesterol was increasing. This January I was prescribed Levo 50. I discovered this site upped my vit D to 2000 and added a general vit B supplement. I have

I just wanted some advice about my results. I am interested in why my antibodies have reduced my half. Is this because I have cut out gluten or the fact that I was on 150mcg and then increased to 175mcg. I'm currently 26 weeks pregnant. Many thanks 20.08.20 Tsh 5.8 Tgab 2101 Tpo 230 Ft3 3.88 Free

Please help me figure my new results out.
Hi everyone, I hope you are all doing as well as can be expected under the current circumstances. I used to feel fine on my 60 mg of Armour Thyroid (NDT), but these last few weeks I have been feeling pretty awful and exhausted a lot, no energy, can't be bothered with my work. My iron is very low, (I'm

Sweet's syndrome during induction chemotherapy for acute myeloid leukemia – case report and mini review.
In 15-20% of cases, Sweet's syndrome (SS) develops secondary to cancer, the blood cancer, acute myeloid leukaemia (AML), being the commonest. Out of the total number of malignancy-associated cases, 85% have blood cancer. This is a case of a 47-year-old woman who developed skin lesions that appeared

Thyroid nodules and high TPO
Hi, I’ve been going through a lot this year and I still don’t know if I blame my liver or my thyroid or both. My liver came back as fatty and mildly enlarged in May but with a normal variation called Riedel’s lobe. My enzymes were all fine but just a tiny bit higher than the normal by like 3 points.

Had my thyroid checked in Cyprus. Fed up with 'out of range' results being ignored by my GP
As many people feel I am sure I was reluctant to speak to my GP about my blood results and descriptions of how I felt. I recently visited Cyprus and after more 'woozy' feelings booked in for blood tests. The Dr wasn't an endocrinologist but organised my tests. The TSH T3 T4 looked fine. The Dr looked

Updates rather promising
I think I may finally be moving forward with potentially getting closer to figuring out the main issue or one of them. Got the genetics test results back but only one of the 81 genes showed up and the variant was VGUS: IKBKAP VGUS, p. L 1139. When you look this gene up, one disease shows up called Familial

Hashimotos, levels out of range are these aches connected?
I’ve been under the GP and now an endocrinologist. My levothyroxine was dropped from 125mcg to 100mcg then to 75mcg. I’m now back to 100mcg and due another blood test mid November. I’m struggling daily with intermittent neck, shoulder and back of the head aches. My last TSH was 12 and that’s when

Blood test results
Good afternoon. The past three weeks my heart rate has been really high (taking beta blockers as Resting heart rate is increased from 65 to 95). I’ve been advised to drop my levothyroxine from 100 down to to then 25. I was also advised to get a blood test... the results are below. Should I be concerned

Trying to conceive and need private prescription!
Hello! I’ve been trying to get pregnant for 7-8 months now unsuccessfully and I suspect The problem is my thyroid levels not being optimal. I had a Levothyroxine increase a couple of months ago From 50 / 75mg alternating days to 75mg daily as TSH was 2.8 and should be below that for successful conception

Latest blood results after taking 100mcg levothyroxine
Hi everyone May I please have your advice on the following blood results .. what I’m noticing is that my FT4 has stayed exactly the same as when I took the 75mcg dose and my FT3 hasn’t really budged from what it was before medication but my previous antibodies were TGB <10 (0-115) and TPO were <9.0 (

Can you help me interpret my lab results?
Hi everyone. I have been having some health issues relating to chest pain and heart palpitations for most of this year. I' have been through a barrage of testing on the heart which seems to rule it out completely. Although I do have PAC's which come and go and may be managed with medication, I am

TSH levels query?
Just after some advice, I've just had my blood results back for my hormone tests, I am currently 9 weeks pregnant and the TSH level is showing as 2.3 mIU/L, I have read the upper suggested number is 2.5 and as I'm edging close to this worried I should perhaps be doing something, GP has just said it's

'Within normal range' but still ill
Years ago Dr Durrant-Peatfield diagnosed me as hypothyroid - without the use of blood tests - and started treatment on Armour. Then I emigrated and tried - without success - to find a doctor willing to continue my treatment. Over the years my ill health has become almost normal, if life limiting. Finally

Confused from Reading too Much about Carbimazole 5mg
Hi I'm new to all this. Before now I have never worried about what medication I have been prescribed, but then my doctor told me the side effects and I felt I needed to find out more before taking it, as it made me nervous. My TPO is 50 kU/L (0-5.6), TSH .05 miu/L (0-7), T3 5 pmol/L (1-9) and T4 12.4

Start of my journey
Hi I’ve joined here with you all as pretty much the whole of this year I’ve basically felt rubbish. Hadn’t really thought much of it as I’m self employed, work incredibly long hours with a large family also. I’ve changed over lockdown and the pandemic and realised that life’s too short, now work from
