TPO result.
Hi, according to my test results, I have raised TPO antibodies. Thyroid Peroxidase Antibodies 99.7 kIU/L 0 - 34 Am I right in thinking this is potentially indicating Autoimmune/Hashimoto's? Thanks

Confused. Do I really need Levo?
Hi all, hope you can help/advise. I have had sub-clinical hypothyroidism (diagnosed by TSH level only š) for approx 20 years. I was made aware of this and prescribed Levothyroxine only a couple of years ago when my TSH reached 10 (apparently full-blown hypothyroidism). The thing is, my FT 4 has always

Overactive again, but why? What to do?
I have an endo appt on Monday (25th Sep 2023). Before that, I'd appreciate your thoughts on what you all think may be happening and why. It might help me get the most out of the appointment. Apologies for the long post ā I felt I needed to fill in some background.

Update on the dreaded G.P appointmentā¦
Just got back from my appointment with the G.p (Copied a bit of history from my last post for reference. ) Wellā¦it was horrible, but to cut a long story short - he agreed on a small increase in levothyroxine from 50mcg to 75mcg. Although it was a long, arduous process, and he made me feel as if I was

Have I cracked it?
I'm not showing off here, there are a few of us members scratching their heads after having symptoms and signs of over replacement after careful titration and focus on gut health, adrenals, sex hormones etc, just sharing so we can all compare notes. Being over range came as a complete surprise and out

I have been managed with varying doses of levothyroxine, follow a gluten-free diet and supplement with B12, Fe and Vit D oral sprays. Having gained weight during Covid, I decided to make a conscious

Advice on recent Bloods please
I would really appreciate your advice on blood results please. I have been taking Levothyroxine for 10 years. When I read ElleMai's post I was tearful, that was me 10 years ago. Once medicated I certainly felt much better but not great. I've been frustrated for years at my low energy levels, crawling

No symptom relief from levothyroxine :(
Iāll try and make this as brief as possible but itās been a long journey. I was diagnosed with subclinical hypothyroid in Feb 2023 after TSH was raised (7.49) - T4 was not tested so they repeated at my request. TSH was raised again (6.12 ) and T4 at the bottom range of normal (11.5). GP asked if I

Very High TSH
Hi all. For those that had a very high TSH, how long did it take to get back into a normal and optimal range? I have started levothyroxine 50mcg daily, 3 days after my last bloods which were: TSH: 48.2 (range 0.27-4.2 mIU/L) [not a typo š¤Ŗ] FT4: 3.9 (range 10.8 - 25.5 pmol/L) Note antibodies currently

Thyroid labs after 6 Weeks on 75mcg, would appreciate any advice š
So Iāve been struggling with various symptoms such as ice cold hands and feet, major brain fog, joint and muscle aches, food sensitivities and low basal temperature.. these seems to point to a thyroid issue for many years now and decided to try medication to see if I get any relief. Here are my findings

TPO levels/results
hi, can TPO levels decrease on their own without any intervention? Does it matter how high or not the number is as long as itās over the reference range?

Help with results please and any advice what to do
Hi, Can anyone advise me on these results please - what they mean/what to do next. I have included some history, but I am not feeling well at the moment so apologise if it is all over the place and a bit patchy. I have just rejoined the forum so have had lots of useful information about testing and
