Not sure I Need Thyroid Hormone after these labs (before and after)
Two years ago my labs on no thyroid hormone (shown below) came in normal except for low total T3. My endo said that was a useless measurement, and stated emphatically "I would not treat this." I convinced her to let me go on a trial of thyroid meds to see if I benefited from it. I noticed that thyroid

Can't quite understand these results!
Hello all I'm new, and yet to see my GP. I tested positive for the antibodies at an earlier (unrelated) appointment so my GP ordered these test results but they've come back confusing. Makes me wonder if there's anything wrong at all! Perhaps you can help. Here they are: Ferritin 10 (13 - 150.00) ( I

I've yet to have a diagnosis and wondering if someone can tell me what raised levels of TPO and TG antibodies could indicate. Can antibodies be triggered by gluten on skin?
I regularly handle ground wheat or barley, I wear a mask to avoid breathing it but should i worry about the dust that inevitably gets on my skin? I have gone gluten free for 3 weeks now, as I have tpo antibodies (88) but no symptoms and trying to keep it that way. Sue

Very high TPO levels | next steps?
Hi, My partner has been having some Thyroid issues for a number of years now. She was prescribed levothyroxine in 2015 but the GP never really followed up or monitored tests result etc. She has access to some results on Patient Access, but not everything from all the blood tests that she's had. Improving results?
Hi, I’m recently diagnosed and thought I’d try the MediChecks finger prick test. As I was unsure how I’d get on I just purchased the basic test as it was on offer. My results seem to be improving yet I feel like rubbish .... I’m not due to see my dr until Mid July and I saw a letter from an Endocrinologist

Can someone shed some light on my test results please?
Created a new post as I posted it as a reply to previous thread but no responses :( So my blood results have come back and I'd be grateful if those more knowledgeable than I can help interpret them. As said before I have put on a lot of weight. Currently taking 100mcg Levothyroxine since Jan 2018.

So confused
As some of you may know, I posted my lab results on here some time back, as I didn’t really understand what they all meant. I was told on here that my raised TgAb was Hashimoto, and there had possibly been some infiltrations. It took a while for me to see an endocrinologist as my GP kept stating that

I really need some support - please :-(
I need some advice and reassurance. I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s ten years ago. Never been medicated as the doctors always say I’m within range even though I’ve had results out of range at various points. My TPO antibodies have been as high as 1500 and I’ve been temporarily hyperthyroid as well as

So confused by results - should I give up?
Have posted several times before, but I’m really at the end of my tether. I’ve been having symptoms of hypothyroidism for 11 years but tests results were always normal (TSH generally 1.3-1.7). Since september I’ve decided to do private tests and in the last couple of months I’ve done them more frequently

Abnormal TFT's
Got back my latest Thyroid results (and they will be repeated in 4 weeks) There has been a steady upward climb. TSH has gone from 1.75, 2.12, 3.08, and last one 4.49 (ref 0.4-4.00) and the TPO (Thyroid Peroxidase) came in at 16.7 (ref <5.6). This is leaning toward Hypothyroid and I'll get another panel

Newbie - hello!
Morning everyone, I am hoping for a bit of advice. I am 33 years old, female and I was diagnosed with underactive thyroid about 3 months ago. I currently take 50mcg levothyroxine. The underactive thyroid results were found on a routine blood test after I had increasing symptoms for about 4 months

8 year old daughter
My daughter had a scan to assess a little swelling in her neck. Some tiny nodules were found on the thyroid gland. The TPO antibodies test was negative. TSH 1.75 (.2-4) T4 17 (10-20) She has an appointment with a paediatric endo next week. I really what to know what should I be asking? Any other tests

Latest blood results for advice please
I have been taking levothyroxine 100mcg on 3 mornings / 75mcg on 4 mornings a week. A month ago I noticed my resting pulse was slower - 46/49/52 and I have felt lower in energy and unmotivated. Had an ECG at Gps- back tomorrow for result. Latest blood test results from medicheck are : TSH 2.53 (0.27

New diagnosis found. Probable secondary hypothyroidism. Partial hypopituitarism. Normal Pituitary MRI. ? second opinion. Further tests?
Following a move to a different county I found my T3 prescription was cancelled before GP records transferred. So on T4 only From December 2017. I was referred to new Endocrinologist. My records and tests results were reviewed and found to be unusual. All blood tests taken at 9am fasting with 24 hour
