Advice on blood tests very welcome please
Previous results in May were TSH 5.6 (not sure about T4 told it was fine) I felt dreadful and had all the symptoms of hypothyroid. Told policy is to recheck in 6 months as could be a one off result. 05/10/18 at GP's TSH 4.2 and T4 11.9. Vit D 69 so given Hux D3. Calcium Serum adjusted calcium concentrate

I cannot figure out how to get back to my original post, so I am sorry that this is disconnected from the background. At that time, I didn't have the ranges to go along with my daughters numbers. I have those now. For the most recent draws: TSH - 6.81 (0.3-3.8) Free T4 - 0.91 (0.8-1.8) T3 - 102 (80

New here and confused
Hello, I just joined the group as it seems likely I have a thyroid problem. Been feeling unwell since the start of the year - tired, low mood, losing weight, also muscle weakness. After going to my GP, I was referred to rheumatology at local hospital, then to neurology and most recently to oncology.

T3 & T4 - What is optimum?
Please tell me if these results are ‘healthy’ for a hypo patient, with respect to T3 & 4 levels :) TPO antibodies 91 iu/mL T3 5.0 (upper part of range 6.8) T4 18.8 (range 10.60-23.30 pmol/L) TSH 0.34 (0.3-4.2 mU/L) Has anyone else had this combo - high B12 and low folate? B12 793 (197-771) Folate

High TPO results but total thyroidectomy was done a year ago.
Is it normal to have thyroid peroxidase antibodies even if you had a total thyroidectomy a year ago? Can the presence of thyroid peroxidase antibodies be indicative of something other than a thyroid problem?

Still not feeling well following RAI in January
Hello all. Am really struggling following RAI treatment in January and would welcome any advice. I was diagnosed with Graves 7 years ago and prescribed Carbimazole for 1 year and my Endo then stopped it and said to 'wait and see'. I relapsed and he suggested RAI which I resisted. I then took Carbimazole

Hashimotos or Vitamin Deficiency, latest blood results, advice needed please.
I posted 3 months ago and got some very good advice from the community. I am due to see the Endo on Friday concerning the nodules in my thyroid which have grown larger and would like to be armed with as much information as possible before I go. A brief recap. I had a thorough check up whilst in Turkey

Substernal goitre - Is it likely that surgery will be the only answer ?
Hi all. I'm sure I'm not the only person who has this so would love to hear others' experiences of treatment. I have a multinodular goitre which has become substernal. I have high TPO antibodies also. Not yet seen an endo, no treatment. I have gone gluten free after advice here. Just wondering if
