got covid bad,do I stop arthritis meds.
hi, been 3 days since tested positive on lateral flow. I'm currently on benepali and strong pain killers though the illness is bizarrely making it less painful to move. This version is supposed to be just a cold but I feel alot worse. Does anyone know about biologics. Should I stop?

TENS Machines and AF
Hi, I recently posted about painkillers (for Femoral Nerve pain in my case) and the myriad potential side effects including heart rhythm problems, which put me off taking any painkillers at all. At an appointment with a physiotherapist today I asked if a home TENS Machine could be used to alleviate

Hi all hoping to get some answers on here as I'm feeling a freak with my chronic pain. Pain clinics think I'm 'unusual'. (back pain)
My back pain is triggered by cold temperatures - immediately goes to acute and it's like being stabbed in the back and someone is turning the knife. Doesn't seem to come on with movement and is not made any worse when moving and is not a stiffness thing or sciatic type pain. I do have some scoliosis

please help. Desperate.
Before I start, this is definitely going to be a long winded one but stay with me here if you can 😂 I’m absolutely desperate for some kind of answers, advice, similar experiences - literally anything to make me feel like I’m not going completely insane. I’ve just turned 27 last month, I have 4 children

Does Covid boost ALS?
I'm W&W for 2 years. Abs lymphs (ALS) were 82K in July. Got 1st Evusheld 8/23. Got Covid 8/31 and started Paxlovid same day. 5 days later, 9/5, felt great then went on a vigorous 31 miles bike ride (probably too soon for such exercise). Then rebound on 9/12 with positive home test. Never got fever but

Stage 4 endo diagnosed with emergency laparoscopy. Zoladex prescribed for 6m with follow up surgery after that. Seeking advice.
I thought this was normal and compared to others suffering with
chronic
pain
I probably am very lucky.

Obstructive defecation anyone ?
So, I've been referred for an anal manometry and and endo anal ultrasound. A digital rectal exam is painful enough so I'm wondering whether these are too? Anyone had one??

osteoporosis pain medication
Hi. I am suffering terribly with back pain recently and I don’t get on well with pain meds however even I know I can’t function like this it’s agony. The gp offered me codeine morphine etc but I can’t touch those or ibuprofen style medicine so I was wondering if anyone has been prescribed alternatives

How long does it take to get pain relief once on medication?
Reaching out for advice. I had a MINOCA first week of September. Since discharge from hospital I have still experienced fluctuating chest, arm and rib pain, breathlessness with light exertion and severe head pressure. First trip to hospital resulted in prescription for diltiazem hydrochloride.

A brief update post Venetoclax+Rituximab - treatment number 4
Many of you have been kind enough to ask about my current situation. For those not aware, briefly - I relapsed within days of stopping Ibrutinib (due to funding and end of the trial) which I had received as part of the FLAIR trial. I had 7cm nodes under my arms which had come up almost overnight
