Medication not working
Hi all. I’ve had this occasionally with one dose but never like this and I’m a bit worried. It’s Day 3 today and nothing I take appears to be having any impact on my symptoms (Madopar, Mucuna or Ropinerole). I’m unsure if I’m ‘I’ll’ or if this is aches due to the PD. I was sick yesterday morning for

Zanubritinib for CLL, started yesterday.
Hello all! I'm back after a 2-year remission. Dr. Thompson at MD Anderson prescribed Zanubrutinib because Ibrutinib and Venetoclax were pretty toxic for me on the first go round, and I have migraines so Acalabrutinib was out because he said it causes headaches. No problem getting it approved by my

Miscarriage and next transfer
Hi all, So had a scan on the 7th on what should have been 7.5 weeks, a sac was there but nothing else. My clinic abroad was never optimistic right from the beginning due to low first hcg (112). Anyway the sonography said that since sac had grown they cannot diagnose as miscarriage until they scan again

Bleeding continues 😩
Morning lovely people! Sorry me again. The reassurance of a scan doesn’t last long does it?? The bleed and then spotting from the weekend had stopped and we saw a heartbeat at Mondays scan. This morning woke up with lower back ache and cramps again. Had fresh red blood when I went to the loo and wiped

So after stopping all the meds I started bleeding 21st of May and was quite a significant bleed for over a week and the spotting and old blood for another week. I did an HCG blood test on the 30th of

Is kaleidoscopic vision a feature of GCA?
I’ve had a bout of this recently. I’m under a lot of stress at the moment but v rarely have migraines. It occurred when I was first diagnosed with pmr. Coincidence then? Is it a warning of recurring gca? I’m down to 3mg predisolone atm.

*Sensitive* Embarazada!
I mean. Many more steps but. Today (9DP5DT), I have a hCG of 121.7 and a scan booked in for 5 weeks and 4 days on 21st June. Spanish clinic oddly don’t want to do another hCG as say numbers fine and will see me for scan in 11 days. I’m going with it. Thanks for all your lovely messages! Still not really

Is anyone using danshen?
I have begun acupuncture treatment as a prophylactic, and my Chinese acupuncturist recommended danshen (more specifically Fu Fang Dan Shen). Does anyone have any experience with this? Thanks for any light you can shed ...

Constant pain in left abdomen after IVF- endometriosis
Hi, I have stage 4 endometriosis and had excision surgery in September 2021 to remove the cysts. I had egg retrieval immediately after that. My cysts are not back but before FET the doctor said that I might have hydrosalpinx based on my USG report. I had left side pelvic pain during ovulation (where

Same here. Cluster headaches & felt very ill. Reported but still get prescribed Teva by local pharmacies who state they can’t get alternatives. I have joined pharmacy 2u in the hope I can get Wockhardt & Mercury Pharma. Also, if you change brand your Dr. should be consulted too, info I found on

Injections
I can not say enough about how helpful injections are. Here is and example: I went to bed ( around 10:30pm) with a migraine that on pain scale was about a 3 or 4 out of 10. I slept and woke up at 4 am with the same pain level so I took 2 over the counter migraine medication. I fell back to sleep and

Confused - no sac, testing positive, low hcg
Follow up to my last post, I've had two HCG blood tests and the first one came at 65 and the second one which was done 2 days later has come just slightly reduced, yet my clinic has told me to continue with my medication?? I don't understand why? I've asked them and they said its "best practise". Does

Anyone who knows about hcg and progesterone levels please help!hcg update
Hi ladies! If you seen my previous post I had a natural bfp last week and still getting a dark line on frer. I did beta on Monday which was day 30 and the results came back today at 102. My progesterone level is 86.6 nmol/L Is this too low for it being a viable pregnancy? I can’t look into a repeat
