Another possible chemical :(
Hi guys, Apologies in advance for the long post… I think I'm having my 4th chemical pregnancy (1st with IVF after 3 natural chemicals). Had my FET on 19th Dec and OTD was yesterday at 11dp5dt. Got a few positive tests and a 1-2 weeks CB yesterday. Really tried to feel positive about the tests but

Update: it’s all over
Update: third hcg levels on 190, so not doubling in 72 hours. Devastated. That’s the end for us. No more attempts Tomorrow I have my second BT to see if the very low initial hcg has doubled. If not, that’s it for us - this was our last attempt before we move away from it all. I was so hoping

A PRACTICAL GUIDE TO UNDERSTANDING KAPLAN-MEIER CURVES
If you don't want to get a headache or confused (like me) don't read this post. I read it because I'm a masochist. And the reason I put it here is because I'm a sadist.👹👹 On the topic - most of us who like to read publications and dig deeper (according to our capabilities) constantly encounter data

feeling useless
Hi everyone Yesterday I had a migraine made me feel quite ill . I literally ached from head to toe and did not know what to do with myself. I took some co codamol which just makes me sleep and feel groggy. I slept best part of the day and all night. My headache has gone but everything else still hurts

Moment to behold
Sunny Ireland August 2022 Outside is sunny and hot. 30 degrees centigrades...outstanding in this wet land where my bones sometimes feel mouldy...and i got up for second day free of pain. Its 7.pm the sun still shinning. The lake in my village is buzzing. It looks like a resort in the Mediterranean

Does Covid boost ALS?
I'm W&W for 2 years. Abs lymphs (ALS) were 82K in July. Got 1st Evusheld 8/23. Got Covid 8/31 and started Paxlovid same day. 5 days later, 9/5, felt great then went on a vigorous 31 miles bike ride (probably too soon for such exercise). Then rebound on 9/12 with positive home test. Never got fever but

practical suggestions for pwp and the 2am club......drooling
Drooling sucks especially when you wake up with a wet pillow...which usually occurs mid to late stage pd. You can drink/eat pineapple which contains bromelain.. that acts to "dry" out the salivary gland which is controlled by the the parasympathetic/autonomic nervous system which ultimately becomes

Cronic fatigue, nausea and loss of appetite.
Good evening everyone. I haven’t been on here for a while and I have to admit I’ve been feeling a little smug, reducing my pred down to 2.5mg with the help of 20mg of methotrexate, but the down side being diagnosed with fibromyalgia. However this week I have come crashing down to reality, I am feeling

A brief update post Venetoclax+Rituximab - treatment number 4
Many of you have been kind enough to ask about my current situation. For those not aware, briefly - I relapsed within days of stopping Ibrutinib (due to funding and end of the trial) which I had received as part of the FLAIR trial. I had 7cm nodes under my arms which had come up almost overnight

See a Dermatologist On a Regular Basis, if possible.
Once I was diagnosed with cll 8 years ago (in my mid-60’s), I was advised to see a dermatologist on a regular basis. I was lucky that my family physician’s partner is a dermatologist, so finding a dermatologist was easy. At least in Ontario, it is getting more and more difficult to find a dermatologist

mental health in first trimester
I’m wondering what anyone else has done to deal with first trimester stress. And in particular if anyone has any experience with contacting GP etc for support and whether it’s actually helped/ any other things tried? I’m 6w. I’m convinced that it’s a blighted ovum or otherwise already lost/ going

Doctor cannot fully diagnose without bone marrow biopsy and PET scan?
Update Results: Hello i did have the cyclometery test done, but i didnt put it here before. Is thaat the same as a FISH test? Here are my results: An abnormal CD5-positive B cell population accounts for approximately 35% of lymphocytes and 13% of total events. This population shows kappa restriction

extreme tiredness with migraines
Do others get extreme tiredness with migraines? Even mild ones where the headache isn’t too bad, I seem to get extreme tiredness/fatigue and a feeling of being unable to do anything apart from lie down. Is this a common symptom with migraines ? Thanks

BFN 9dp5dt- worth testing again?
I had my 8th and final embryo transferred on 2 December. I did my beta yesterday (9dp5dt) - it was negative. They don’t give the exact value just <2.4. Has anyone had a negative or super low HCG on day 9 and gone on to have a positive? I’ve messaged my doctor, but behind it’s the weekend, I may not get
