We are excited to announce that our first conference for over two years will be held in Glasgow.

Topic: 'Managing CLL in 2022- Treatment guidelines explained'

When: Tuesday 18 October

Where: Voco Grand Central, 99 Gordon Street, Glasgow, G1 3SF.

The centre is within the Grand Central Railway complex.

We are privileged to have some excellent speakers and the topics discussed will be very relevant to all people with CLL, and their families and supporters.

Speakers will include:

Dr Alison McCaig, Consultant  Haematologist at Queen  Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow.

She will give an overview on the current therapies available for CLL as well as discussing recent developments in first-line treatment, options available at relapse and key factors to consider when choosing treatment.

Therese Jimenez-Agrawal is a foremost occupational therapist who helped to create our wellbeing website Support ACT.

She is an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) practitioner and will be speaking about how patients can come to terms with the diagnosis of and living with CLL.

This will be an opportunity to meet other people with CLL and hear about the latest developments in treatments.

Attendance is free, and lunch and refreshments will be provided.

We look forward to welcoming you.

Is a hybrid set up/replay going to be available for those unable or too concerned about infection to go to Glasgow?

Hi G1llHa1n. Yes, the conference will be recorded, and the key events will be on our website shortly afterwards. We also hope to live-stream the conference on our YouTube channel.
