CLL highly correlated to other cancers?
My husband has MBL - I understand this as stage 0 CLL. He is asymptomatic and well. His iron/ ferritin suddenly dropped and a small bowel malignant tumour was diagnosed and successfully removed. The Haematologist who manages the CLL commented that it’s unsurprising that he developed a secondary cancer

Relapse Worries? Help, Please!
Hi everyone, I started treatment (V + O) in January 2020; a year later, I was done, and had a flow blood result of "no detectable abnormalities" or whatever. Yay! Today, however, I got the results of another flow blood test, 20 months after treatment ended, and it says "the immunophenotype of these

Pregnancy disrupts the accuracy of automated fT4 immunoassays

Slow growing embryo miscarriage
I was wondering if anyone has had a miscarriage with a slow growing embryo? Initially my HCGs were strong and going well. Had a bit of dark brown discharge so went to the EPU at 5 weeks. Sac visible but that was all. At 6 weeks I was told I had a blighted ovum then 2 days later a fetal pole was visible

Migraine surgery center
I woke up with a stiff neck in March 2020. This eventually resolved but has morphed into chronic neck pain, stiffness and headache. I have a constant heavy dragging feeling combined with waking up sometimes 5 nights in a row with splitting headaches. I’ve had cervical denervation, Botox, local anaesthesia

Monoclonal antibodies vs. Paxlovid
I recently recovered from Covid-19 after taking Paxlovid. I was diagnosed with CLL in 2009 and began treatment with Ibrutinib in early December 2020. I also received the full recommended doses of Evusheld since antibody tests showed I had an inadequate response to the vaccine. My case of Covid was

Beta HCG at 5+3. Hospital not worried about doing 2nd beta
After an ectopic pregnancy earlier this year so I had my HCG levels taken at the hospital to try to put my mind at ease. At 5+3 they came back at 1779. They are not worried about doing a second test to see if doubling. They are going to do a scan instead on Monday. I am worried though as I feel like
