Ashermans, thin lining, low ovarian reserve, poor responder.. trying ivf one last time with donor sperm for possible surrogacy if lucky
After many years of having a Mirena coil for heavy periods, my then partner and I decided to start to try for a baby. I thought it was strange that when I had the coil out my periods remained just as light as when I had it in. I decided to do some hormone tests, and discovered I had a high prolactin

Embryo and sac measuring small and behind but heartbeat good.
Update: scan today. Still small sac. Embryo still 6 days behind. Measuring 6weeks 5 days but should be 7 weeks 4 days. But heartbeat is now 145. Up from last time. And embryo has grown. It was 0.38cm last week and it’s 0.79cm now. So it could still go either way… gotta have another scan in a week. So

Newly approved drug effective against lung cancer caused by genetic mutation
The new drug sotorasib reduces tumor size and shows promise in improving survival among patients with lung tumors caused by a specific DNA mutation, according to results of a global phase 2 clinical trial. The drug is designed to shut down the effects of the mutation, which is found in about 13% of patients

Clear Blue weeks vs hcg result
I tested this morning at 9dp5dt on a clearblue with weeks indicator and it showed "2-3 weeks". However, I had my beta taken less than 2 hours later and they are 115. Apparently the clearblue threshold for 2-3 weeks is 153. Has anyone else had this happen? Could my hcg levels be dropping so quickly?

*Sensitive* 8dp5dt BFP but brown discharge
Hello ladies, I hope you're all doing well. I had my 6th embryo transfer last week and tested yesterday (8dp5dt) and got a BPF. Obviously I was totally delighted but today (9dp5dt) I have had some light brown coloured discharge/blood(?) - only when I wiped though. I don't know if it's too late for

Ashermans syndrome, endometrium 2.5mm, poor responder, trying ICSI one last time for surrogacy
Hi everyone, I’ve started a short protocol this week 450 Ovaleap to combine with Menopur from day 8 to try and get a blastocyst to freeze for potential surrogacy After many years of having a Mirena coil for heavy periods, my then partner and I decided to start to try for a baby. I thought it was strange

Why won't my doctors let me give up on this pregnancy?
Hi again, it's me, Bad News Betty. So as some of you know, I had a BFP a few weeks ago but my HCG levels were a little low. Then they failed to double, then plateaued, and then started to go down slightly. The highest number I reached was only 322. The clinic was worried that I might have an ectopic

Slow rising HCG levels- will I miscarry?
Hi All, Just wondering if there is any one out there with advice on slow rising HCG. I know there’s nothing they can really do about it… but I’ve been trying for years, had failed IVF etc. Fallen pregnant naturally somehow and I’m week 5.5 with HCG levels of 2300 they are not doubling every 48 hours

Hairy cell leukaemia - treatment update
Quick update one week after my 5 day subcutaneous chemo jabs ended. So far so good, I've managed a few one mile or so walks with my daughter, am sleeping well, eating well but have lost nearly a stone (13 lb) weight over the last 6 weeks, and get tired if I over-exert myself. Also having a lot of night

New Study reveals vaccines not very effective for CLL and MM patients
Two new studies published in Blood suggest that the mRNA COVID-19 vaccine may have reduced efficacy in individuals with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) and multiple myeloma, two types of blood cancer. According to researchers, these studies could help inform the ideal time for vaccination of these
