Cervix stenosis or closed cervix during IVF
Hi all, I have had LLetz 3 years ago and no one told me it may affect my fertility. Ultrasound also never showed it. Few days ago I had ET and doctor asked me -" What have they done to you?" Which i have mentioned I had LLETZ. He did something probably puncture with a tool to be able to put the catheter

How many times are we going to allow ourselves to get pregnant and have 2 miscarriages and 5 chemical pregnancies. First round of ivf. Had to fight to get it as doctors didn't want us to have it as I can get pregnant Im just unlucky. How insensitive is that to say I'm just unlucky after seeing a pregnant

New Study reveals vaccines not very effective for CLL and MM patients
Two new studies published in Blood suggest that the mRNA COVID-19 vaccine may have reduced efficacy in individuals with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) and multiple myeloma, two types of blood cancer. According to researchers, these studies could help inform the ideal time for vaccination of these

Sensitive post! 7 weeks 4 days Preg with low and slow rising hcg numbers. Saw fetal heartbeat 145bpm. But embryo measuring 6 weeks 5 days.
Hi everyone IVF pregnancy. I’m very anxious. Had low hcg numbers and so they sent me for a scan at 6 weeks. Sac was small (they were concerned) and embryo measuring 5-6 days behind. But fetal heart beat was 128… then repeat scan a week later and heartbeat is now 145. Sac is still small. And embryo has

I’m back 👋 Low HCG beta trying for no.2
Hi everyone, I’ve been popping back here and there since I had my daughter last year after four rounds of IVF. We recently decided to start trying for no.2 with our two remaining Frosties. Had a transfer on 9th aug so I’m currently 11dp5dt, had a good BFP at home and today was our beta blood test.

CLL responses to Pfizer’s Covid vaccines.
Just sharing an ASH medical journal study of CLL patient’s responses to the Pfizer Covid vaccine: Among patients with chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL, n = 169) who received two doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine, the antibody response rate was 39.5% as measured by the Elecsys Anti-SARS-CoV-2 assay

Hairy cell leukaemia - treatment update
Quick update one week after my 5 day subcutaneous chemo jabs ended. So far so good, I've managed a few one mile or so walks with my daughter, am sleeping well, eating well but have lost nearly a stone (13 lb) weight over the last 6 weeks, and get tired if I over-exert myself. Also having a lot of night

Hope
I posted on here explaining that after a bfp I had experienced a bleed, some spotting, cramps, nausea and sweating. I had also had discharge and was feeling really pessimistic about the scan today. The scan was totally ok and out little 6 week embryo is in there with a heartbeat and a nice high HCG 🤢

High Jak2 burden with Tet2 mutation
I was diagnosed with P-vera a few months ago. My bone marrow biopsy showed I have the Jak2 v617f mution at 88% allele burden, this sounds very high to me. I also have a Tet2 mutation at 25% allele burden. Anyone else have high burden like this. My Doctor has down played the 88% burden, but my reading
