Hello everyone.

I would like to update the information of our Ricther Transformation group.

A month and a half ago, a 42-year-old patient died. He had been transforming Ricther for nine months and was very aggressive. He had it spread all over his body. He was treated with R-Chop and in the middle of the treatment it seemed that he had completely disappeared. When he finished the treatment, in the control of the Pet Scan they discovered that he had reappeared and with more force. They wanted to do a cell transplant but it was too late. The Ricther went to his head and the doctors said there was nothing they could do for him anymore.

A 62-year-old patient also died. His Ricther had it in her bones. He did not finish R-CHOP and died three months after he was diagnosed with the disease.

On the other hand, there are positive cases that are presenting with new combinations of treatments, not only with R-CHOP. R-CHOP has been shown not to be enough to make Ricther disappear and a combination of treatments is necessary to completely eliminate the disease.

There is a 50 year old patient who is being treated with Cart-T and he is waiting for the results but he is fine. He has it located on his neck.

An important fact is that there are two people over the age of 80 who have finished their R-CHOP treatment and are doing well and in complete remission. This means that the treatments are well tolerated by older people and the Ricther is not as aggressive compared to younger people.

Also, the success of treatments depends on the number of tumor masses in your body. More quantity of masses, more complicated of success. The smaller the number of masses, the more successful the results will be.

Therefore, it is very important that the disease is diagnosed in time to start treatments as quickly as possible. I also want to inform you that clinical trials are beginning with Car-T in healthy donor cells. Waiting for results because they don't yet know how they can work. I will keep you informed of the results.

For my part, to say that Cath's port will be removed soon. It's a miracle. Chronic lymphocytic leukemia, two breast cancers, and a Ricther transformation. In remission of all four. A miracle.

A hug colleagues and to all those who are diagnosed with Ricther's Transformation, you can contact our group to have contact with other people who have the same disease.

Peace and love

It is important to be able to help all newly diagnosed Ricther Transformation and get as much information as possible. You have to change the statistics and that it is not something so terrifying when we are diagnosed. There are few patients in the world but it is a possibility that all of us who have CLL have. So it's important that we all stay up to date because one of us can be diagnosed with Ricther tomorrow and I don't want them to feel alone like I did.

I am so happy to see you are in complete remission, Tonia. That is incredible and wonderful news.! Thank you so much for providing the update, although I know it isn't easy when someone is lost to RT, especially when you are fighting for the survival of each one.

Thank you, Tonia, for everything you do. ❤️❤️❤️

More and more cases of Richter are being diagnosed by new treatments. We are learning a lot despite the fact that many people die along the way. One of the things we have learned is that R-CHOP as the first treatment is not enough. A combination of treatments is necessary for it to be effective and we can achieve complete remission without relapse.
