Flu, antibiotics and Levo
I’m recovering from quite a bad flu I’m having to take antibiotics 4 times a day, now this is my question. I’m having very severe headache they are worse after my dose of levothyroxine which I’m leaving the 4 hour gap with. Could it just be the antibiotic hasn’t knocked the headache part of the illness

My Stem Cell Journey so far.
Hi everyone just thought I’d share my experience of STC with you. I began the prep treatment over a week ago which consisted of a concoction of IV and oral meds. The day before transplant I had Total Body Irradiation - on the 31st I received “the gift” of stem cells from an anonymous donor 🙏. Im sorry

Shingles - to vacc or not to vacc
Morning wonderful hive mind. Wonder if I can pick your brains... I've received my first invite for a shingles vacc and while I'm "delighted' I'm on the map with local medical network I'm daunted and unsure as to whether I book one. Came on here and had a look-see in the posts regarding shingles and

ICSI and low fertilisation rates
I had a failed first round with no fertilisation with IVF. I’ve just had my second with ICSI 21 eggs, 14 mature and three have fertilised normally. A bit disappointed with low fertilisation rates. If there’s only one I’ll go for fresh transfer on Friday and if more than one I’ll go for day 5 Sunday.

Hi ladies, I haven’t posted for a while but here I am again. We are going through our 4th ICSI round (all previous ones were completely unsuccessful and we didn’t even get to a transfer). This time we somehow magically got 2x 3BB day 5 blasts. Both were transferred on day 5. I am on 2x morning and

Advice/support much needed!! 2nd round of icsi
Looking for words of encouragement or support as I’m getting ready for my second round and feeling really anxious and negative. My background: Had first ICSI cycle in Feb. Only got 3 eggs, 1 wasn’t mature, 1 was fertilised but didn’t make it, 1 made it to a low grade blast and was transferred on day

My glove upgrade lost its buzz..
Hi, My PD/Tass glove prototype seems to have lost its “buzz” when my partner swapped the old/vinyl look (on the right in the picture) with the clean new look (on the left in the picture). Using the SAME power/arduino etc. it seemed that it should work great until I put them on my hands and realized

Seem to be stuck at 7.5mg
Hello my friends , I have been stuck at this dose for approaching 3 years . Sometimes going a little higher on sick days and throughout extremely stressful times. I’ve lost my Mum this year after years of caring , grief is a dreadful experience, the price we pay for love eh ! I only have to drop

Anal Cancer - after effects
I had chemo/radiotherapy for Anal Cancer in 2015 and was signed-off in 2021. Several times post treatment I have had spells of anal aching and soreness that mirrored what I experienced prior to diagnosis and treatment. Also I experienced quite a bit of discomfort in my perineum when sitting, this has

Looking for success stories
I’m feeling a little deflated and I’m hoping you lovely humans can share some success stories with me. We had egg collection today. Despite having a high AMH (50.9) and PCOS they only retrieved five eggs, with two of the larger follicles being empty. For context, I’m 35 and we’re having ICSI due to

16 follicles but only 3 now growing?
Hi all - long time loiterer, first round IVF-er. I am in the stims stage of our first ever IVF round and slowly baking some follicles over here for first collection for PGTA. I know there are huge drop-offs at each stage - and super unlikely to get great numbers when I'm 42, however......at my baseline

Bronchitis
I have been coughing on and off for about a month, a few days ago I started feeling really ill. I phoned the surgery and was given an appointment with a nurse practitioner who confirmed it was bronchitis and not a chest infection and gave a prescription for a salbutamol inhaler. Should I be concerned

DNA fragmentation and ICSI
Hello, I'm experiencing severe PMS today which means I'm overthinking everything and negative thoughts are just going round and round after a confirmed negative test on Friday (my 3rd and last FET of this cycle). We recently discovered my partner's DNA fragmentation is sitting at 30% and I have a few
