Pudendal neuralgia??
Hello all, I`m a newbie and soo glad I found this site. I`ve had pain radiating down my left groin and into my genitals for four months. I`ve had tests and scans and everything came back as ok. So I was diagnosed with unexplained neuropathic pain and given pregabalin. These have worked to

Is any one else out there stupid like me in believing someone could cure their pain?
I have recently had a course of
chiropractic
treatment on the recommendation of my Mum, sister & brother in law, who have all been & improved their backs & pain levels considerably. My rhuemy now sees me yearly, she's virtually given up on me, so I looked for help elsewhere.

Pisa syndrome and DBS
In attempting to overcome this, I’ve tried physical therapy, medication changes,
chiropractic
, botox and a few more, all to no avail. I’m now scheduled for DBS (very shortly) but am fearful it may be a waste, and impose unnecessary risks. I’d like to hear from anyone with similar experience.

Just saying hello!
I've recently been diagnosed with arthritis, and thought I'd drop by and say hello! In addition to the usual pain relief, my chiropractor has suggested using a hot water bottle... and a taxi driver suggested using a packet of frozen peas! I've tried the peas idea and it didn't work for me. He also

It's not for everyone but . . . . . . . .
I found a voucher on Groupon that offered an initial consultation, muscle scan, findings and two treatments for a chiropractor around the corner for me, so I thought why not. Well I had two xrays and was told I have a twisted pelvis and phase one of osteo arthritis in my neck. I had my two free treatments

Has anyone tried Chiropractic and Osteopathy treatments or Acupuncture?
None of the conventional RLS meds work for me so I need to try alternatives. Reflexology and Pilates help, but I wondered if anyone has tried anything else?

Chiropractor. Has anyone tried this approach to improve your pain in Fibro?
I started to see a chiropractor last week due to my neck and back pain a d after the X rays he told/showed me how bad it was. He said that my dizzyness and probably pain all over the body maybe due to hard communication between brain and body. I'm seeing some improvements after 1 appoi ntment. He

Crikey! 10K today
Chiropractic
eventually sorted that out. Anyway, I persisted and graduated on my birthday in March. Since then I've kept at it and gradually pushed the time back and forth a bit but generally upwards.

Careful with that Axe Eugene
Today I could do with somebody with an axe to come along and chop my head off, most of my bothersome tics are from the neck up, excluding the coprolalia, which doesn’t really bother me that much but does have the potential to get me into trouble. Vocally there’s a load of snorts and sniffs and the “cluck

How do I get either diagnosed or ruled out as a sufferer?
I have all/most of the symptoms for months/years. Have been seeing a new chiropractor lately but failing to improve. My GP has referred me for an x-ray and given me anti-inflammatories (which I'm afraid to take after my father's history). I feel a GP may read fibromyalgia as "hypochondria". What's

Not by choice but leaving this GREAT Forum.
In hindsight, with my previous back problems, overweight and having never ever run, this is perhaps not for me. Also I've been told that my ligaments and joints are very hyper-mobile, this causes a lot of the pain. Through my own ignorance on W1 R1, I wore the wrong footwear which has caused me a

Pain means something IS wrong!!!
In my own experience, if something is painful there is generally a good reason. After only running W1R1, my knee started hurting, almost 2 weeks later, not much better. No use going to see my GP, as I know I would be told to take pain killers and anti-inflammatory tablets and maybe given a Cortisone

Injuries are NOT always what they seem!
After W1 R1, I was elated but the following day a knee problem, all brought on by wearing incorrect footwear but you live and learn. Cutting a very long story short, went to see my chiropractor this morning and it is all related to my SI joint, in my lower back, which is causing referred pain. Ouch

can't sleep!! feet are burning
As tired as I am, sleep has evaded me for the past 4 hours. I've tried meditating and listening to relaxing music to combat the tinnitus, but I'm wide awake. My feet have a burning type sensation that is pretty painful and keeping me awake, this happened last night too but I managed to fall asleep.
