Alternative treatment, ie Thai massage
Hi, has anyone tried Thai massage for wear and tear symptoms and how useful was it? Its just that we have a cleaner who recommends it when she had treatment for neck pain. She said that nhs physio, chiropractor and osteopathy had'nt worked previously but the Thai practitioner 'knew' what the problem

Seeking help for treating infrequent but devastating Brainstem/Hemiplegic/Vestibular migraine symptoms
Hello, I am new here and looking to speak with anyone that has experienced Basilar (Brainstem) Migraines combined with Hemiplegic or Vestibular Migraines. I'd love to get your take on how best to seek treatment as my episodes are infrequent but devastating--as in temporarily locked-in. I'm still recovering

Empty
I had a “good” day today but feel more empty than happy. Had my 2nd appt with my new counselor that went really well. Met up with 2 of my old co-workers for lunch. Went out for ice cream with my husband. Went to a chiropractor appt. Have been resting/watching tv the rest of the afternoon and night.

I felt like every bone of my skeleton hurt. Going to my chiropractor didn’t help. My usual go to med for OA ,Aleve, didn’t touch it. Had xrays and MRI. Rings that I had worn for years suddenly were too tight. Hand specialist said that was what jewelers were for, have my rings resized. After reading

Trouble with pain while walking
I was diagnosed in 2010. I’m 66. The past few months I’ve developed significant pain in the form of muscle spasms in my low back, hips, and legs, which are mostly on my left side (side of most of my tremor in hand/arm), but which switch sides. I find myself walking stooped over and walking more slowly

Random update
Was feeling pretty crummy about this time last week. My chiropractor was concerned that my concussion symptoms seemed to be getting worse, so I’m going every day this week, minus today. But then I started feeling “better” toward the tail end of last week. But feeling better almost makes me feel discouraged

Started again today with W4R1
So, after months of not running, I have started again today, and was so happy to realise I can still do it. I fell badly on my coccyx in September last year, and have not been exercising at all since (have had treatment by an excellent chiropractor, and although I am doing well again since several months

Best way to "live with pain" is WITHOUT it!
Because of this, I would like to bring the Ozone therapy to the UK in
chiropractic
and physiotherapy clinics all across the country, to serve as an alternative to the daunting NHS process... I'm doing an MSc at Edinburgh University and one of my courses is on entrepreneurship.

Help
So, I have no idea what’s wrong with me anymore. I’m constantly dizzy and lightheaded it seems to get worse throughout the day, like before bed when I’m just starting to drift off I get a weird sensation in the back of my head and my vision goes blurry and I sway for a few seconds or I’ll jolt awake,

About to restart
So in December I'd got to week 7 and was actually enjoying it then had to stop due to hip pain. Blood tests, X-ray and bone scan all fine. Anti inflammatories helped a bit and at least I could start walking without pain. Been seeing a physio and a chiropractor which both helped a lot - done a couple

Health anxiety or something sinister???
Hi there, I just wanted to share my story of the range of symptoms I’ve been experiencing for the past few months and please bear with me as this post will be a long one! Although I haven’t been diagnosed with an anxiety disorder, I have been suffering with some really debilitating anxiety since December

I absolutely hate not knowing how I’m going to feel from day to day. Friday I felt relatively ok. Yesterday and today I’ve had more dizziness. I also upped my Remeron to the full 15mg pill Friday night. Started doing my concussion exercises at home, but it’s been kinda hard trying to do them when I’

Sacroiliac joint pain
Chiropractic
treatment has improved the pain by 50%. Anyone else have one sided pain issues in SI Joint? Trying to figure out is PMR is a culprit here, or is this another old-age pain in the "a##. Thanks for your thoughts. Jerri PMR diagnosed 2013, currently 3 mg pred.

Migraines everyday or non-stop.
I just recently had my second

This has helped by post-viral meningitis tinnitus.
crossing my legs and stretching my hands straight to the floor (this gives you a greater stretch than regular neck rolls); putting my neck down and holding the weight of my hands on the back of my head to give it some gentle pressure; avoiding loud noises (especially amplified sound); using ear plugs;

Anyone on here dealing with concussion issues? Apparently I have post concussion syndrome.. lots of headaches, head pressure and dizziness. Dealing with anxiety/depression and med changes on top of it. Saw an upper cervical chiropractor yesterday and am now feeling a little worse. Wtfffffffff. 😓

Fingers crossed
Had a great first adjustment with the new chiropractor. Go back on Thursday. Fingers crossed this helps with the dizziness/headaches. Also my first night cutting from .5mg Ativan at night down to .25mg. I’m getting anxiety worrying about withdrawal symptoms. Especially with all these concussion PT appointments
