Coping Accomplishments
I have been working with my therapist on Acceptance and Commitment. I also have been on Abilify for a couple months and WOW!!! It’s like I’ve done a 180... So much more happy and don’t feel so overwhelmed with small daily issues. My son is 17 years old and I have been stressing about my future by myself

Sense of touch seems off
Hello everyone, I usually do not post on these kinds of forums so this is relatively new to me. I am a 22-year-old, male, graduate student in the Midwest and I think something is wrong with me. For the past three weeks, my body seems kind of off. I was going home for break after finishing my first semester

Two Years Into Osteoarthritis
I started walking to relieve some of my “multiple site” osteoarthritis. Its Winter here in Wisconsin, so getting out there is hit and miss, depending on the road conditions. My docs at the VA wont prescribe anything for this condition except Ibuprofen. Ive read that ibuprofen breaks down the cartilage

Frustrated
W2R3 in the books. Still having left knee pain. Saw my chiropractor and went to specialty running store for gait analysis. She approved of my current shoes and inserts. She was happy with my dynamic and passive stretching. She thinks I did too much too soon. She has suggested walking my sessions

My hypochondria seems to be getting worse
Hey there, so I'm new here. So I've dealt with hypochondria for a good portion of my life, but it's only escalated in the past year or so. It just exploded within the past two weeks after I found out I may have a herniated disc (23 with scoliosis, gotta love that), which sent me into a panic in the

My knees hurt
I have W2R2 today. My knees really hurt so I am worried about todays run. My Chiropractor is working with me to keep everything aligned and stripping scar tissue. I’ve been told the pain is normal and I will get past it. Any body having this problem? The pain is in the front of my knees mostly on

Iam new here and anxious as to what is wrong.
Hi iam Owley. 🦉 I have had tinnitus since October it started 2 days after a gentle manipulation (no neck cracks) by a chiropractor. It may be coincidence. I also have health anxiety and i got diagnosed with intracranial hypertension in 2004 but never had tinnitus just visual symptoms. My tinnitus

Please any advice
Hi all, wondering if anyone can help me as I’m at my wits end! These problems started 2 and half years ago. I started with muscle spasm in my face and neck. Which led to severe pain in my upper jaw after 2 years of prodding and poking and numerous appointments with dentist and dental hospital and going

Restart after calf strain
Thanks to a very good local chiropractor I am pleased to report my calf strain has now (hopefully) receded enough so I resumed at W3R1 - which went fine BUT I decided to do a full circuit-style warm up before I took to the warm up walk. Then some toe raises to keep the calf gently stretched. I had to

TKR April 2018 stiffness and sore at 7 months out.
Hi, Im 7 months out of TKR and wish I had never had this surgery. My knee is very mechanical feeling, sore and stiff. I have pretty good range of motion but not w/o pain. I dont need any pain meds and I dont take any RX or OTC drugs. I suspect my spine is the culprit as Ive have spinal fusion at L3-L5

Old faithful!
I still didn't make it to my newly found coffee shop!?! I'd forgotten I had an appt with the chiropractor today. So I had my treatment, left my car in his car park and walked to my old faithful coffee shop - the one that was my regular before I moved! It was so good to be in a familiar place and to see

Chiropractor?
Has anyone on here ever had brain fog, off balance, heavy headedness, anxiety due to neck problems? My neck doesn't hurt but someone I spoke with said a chiro can possibly help these symptoms if it is neck related. I stress a lot so my neck has a lot of tension most days.
