I have W2R2 today. My knees really hurt so I am worried about todays run. My Chiropractor is working with me to keep everything aligned and stripping scar tissue. I’ve been told the pain is normal and I will get past it. Any body having this problem? The pain is in the front of my knees mostly on the left knee.

Some aches and pains are normal when starting a new exercise. Do some knee strengthening work on rest days, they’ll really help.

To reduce impact stay slow, avoid heelstriking, keep footfall under your body not out in front, run on grass or treadmill and most importantly wear proper running shoes fitted after a gait analysis done at a specialist running shop.
Stretching after every run and doing knee strengthening exercises nhs.uk/live-well/exercise/k... should also help.
