Can anyone help? Lower back pain
Hello I was previously on the endometriosis UK page although I had a laparoscopy two days ago to find that the surgeon found nothing wrong at all with my reproductive organs, I am now at an all time low. My GP won't see me until Thursday when I have healed from the procedure, although my physio has already

PMR and Vitamin D and/or D3 deficiency
I am new to this site. So glad to have found it. I am interested to know if any sufferers of PMR have been diagnosed, or think they might have, a Vitamin D or more specifically, vitamin D3 deficiency. I was diagnosed with PMR in 2012 and thought I had beaten it in 2014 but have been in a lot of pain

Chiropractor says I can try
After being on the injury couch since end of December and having been poked, prodded, manipulated and had needles stuck in my rear end, I have been told I can try 1 minute run, 1 minute walk for a whole five minutes. if that is ok can do 6 minutes the next day etc etc. Trouble is I'm now so worried

A little ditty about pain
Hi all :) I'm new at posting on here but I've spent many months reading a lot of your posts and have gained from reading other people's stories and the replies that have been given. Whilst I never wish chronic pain or illness on anyone, sometimes it's nice to know you're not alone and that other people

I'll be having a consultation with the pain medication nurse next week. Advice sought from you experts. I want to have an armoury so to speak of medication I can use according to my level of pain. At the moment I've got paracetamol for the easy times. And then Tramadol. Nought else. I want to ask for

Vagus Nerve
A chiropractor told my sister that interference with the vagus nerve in the neck, C7 vertebrae I think, could impact AF and maybe cause it. Does anyone know anything about this possibility? I wonder if running or cycling could impact the neck.

Yes or no to heat
Yes or no to wheat heat bags and hot water bottles, I've always been told by my chiropractor not to apply heat to my back because the main cause of pain comes from the inflammation, but since thinking my pains are probably due to endo or adenomyosis people keep saying apply heat to pelvic area, and

Right Traps Really Getting to Me Please Help!
My shoulder muscles are really tight. It interrupts my sleep and everything. My chiropractor adjusted me but it didn't seem to do anything for that. He's also my nutritionalist and wanted to see my lab work I got done in July. I got scared though that he implied something could have changed since then

Starting again after injury - get the right shoes!!
I started c25k at start of October 2014 & got 4 wks in before having to give up due to injury. It was all probs with my left side: foot, knee, back. Thanks to a great chiropractor things seem better. I also, on advice of a physio, got fitted for some new running shoes as it turns out I have collapsed

Mindfulness meditation
Just an update now I am 4 weeks into the initial 8 week programme. My pain is more than half of what it was before. I haven't taken Tramadol for 2 weeks and am managing on Naproxen and paracetamol ( half the dose I was taking) . I have not had a bout of weeping despair for 2 weeks. This may all be coincidence

When can you run two days back-to-back?
Question for you folks. I've (almost) always had a rest day or two between my runs. When I was at the chiropractor this afternoon, she asked if I had been running consecutive days. I told her I didn't out of fear of injury. She said that I shouldn't be concerned about running back-to-back days unless

Can I have hope? :( My latest treatment attempts & failures + Anyone heard of the Wimbledon Clinic?
Treatments recently have included: For a few months I had
chiropractic
adjustments as I was told my Atlas was out of alignment and that this was the way to get the blood flowing through my brain and ‘cure’ me.

Recovery relapse
Along with that ive been doing holistic therapies like accupunture and
chiropractic
adjustments. Im feeling very stable now but i am constantly worried about relapse of a psychotic episode or depression. Any thoughts of moving through these feelings?

Newly diagnosed with PMR
I have just been diagnosed with PMR after a good number of months of increasing pain and discomfort. Not knowing what is causing the symptoms can be a minefield. Is it tendonitis, frozen shoulders, sitting in the wrong chair or spinal problems. One tries to think of anything to resolve the problem. Initially
