Colonoscopy side effects
Now, am constantly constipated and managed to have one bowel movement in these 5 days, with the help of
castor
oil
. Is this normal? Is it possible that the colonoscopy or the strong laxative stressed my bowels? I would be happy to read some answers/suggestions. :))

HRT post hysterectomy
I’m after a bit of general advice. I’m about 12 weeks post total hysterectomy and I’m 42. They started me on Tibolone and it was great at first. My memory is terrible, I’m having these horrid episodes where I can’t think straight/concentrate. My moods are so up & down & I’m exhausted. I’m warm but not

GCA worries
Hi. I’ve been hiding in the wings here for a while, gleaning information. My GP has now been treating me for PMR and, according to her Temporal arteritis/GCA symptoms for about 3 weeks now but I’ve had symptoms on and off for some time. I’m almost 50 and have always been healthy apart from having Sjogren

IBS basics for beginners
Dear all, I have recently been suffering from excess burping and stomach pains for which I became dependent on Nexium for a couple of weeks. I have recently found that this is due mainly to changing from almond milk to lactose free milk, and also because I have been drinking a lot of decaff tea and

Adderall not working like it use to
Recently diagnosed from the VA for ADHD which I knew I've had for a long time. I started with adderall a few months ago. Started with 10mg 2x a day, then went to 15mg 2x, then 20mg 2x and now I'm at 30mg 2x a day and I feel like I've built up such a tolerance to it so fast that it isn't working like

TSH target - Hashimoto's, early menopause and finally out of range
Hi there, I would appreciate some guidance/suggestions on the TSH (and freeT3 and freeT4, if appropriate) target number/range I should head towards. I have Hashimoto's and finally I am now out of range for my TSH so I might be in a position to get some help. However, I was reading on the Thyroid UK

Intrinsic factor test reliability
Would one of you very knowledgeable people please remind me why the anti parietal cell/intrinsic factor test isn’t to be relied upon please. I’m trying to prepare for tomorrow’s fight with GP. Thank you.

If You Want to Know Your Risk of Cardiovascular Disease (CVD) Stop Focusing on LDL-C, Instead Focus on Apo B & Apo A1 - the ApoB/ApoA1 Ratio
"LDL-C has been the primary focus in lipid-lowering trials for more than two decades. A vast number of studies, both in primary and secondary prevention, have shown that there is a close relationship between LDL-C and CV event rates, the lower the LDL-C, the lower is the risk [163-165]. Happy with Monarch eTNS device so far! Just wanted to share after years of feeling hopeless with this ADHD struggle
My son who is almost to 9 has just started using the Monarch etns device. We had to take him off of ADHD stimulant medication. That was a nightmare. I have never been a huge fan of wanting to do stimulant medication with him we struggled with giving it to him for years. We tried essential oils, vitamin
