Where to Start?
Jamie had spiked a temp of over 42 degrees and was about 10 minutes away from
cardiac
arrest
, after placing a DNR (do not resuscitate) On Jamie we knew that, that would mean he would die However a brilliant specialist decided to try morphine which within about 5 minutes his heart rate had stabilised

How will strategy by UK Government on chronic conditions affect those with CFS/ fibromyalgia problems?
covers all the body the way NHS structured & funded re diagnosis means terrible delays & dare I say it [well former GP said] " rationing'"That was before my
cardiac
arrest
? Apparently they are saying you can have your say . Have they contacted the Forums?

Could Raynauds be attributed to allergy or a side effect of a medication ?
Had a
cardiac
arrest
6 yrs ago . Then one day reading the leaflet for simvastatin to find it could be a side effect so stopped taking & problem resolved. Check Mediguard site if you take a lot of medications.

Could there be a link with CFS/ fibromyalgia's trigger point & the cardiac [oxygen getting to the main organs ] due to weak pumping action?
Yet when had ischemic signalling found on brain scan before
cardiac
arrest
I was never referred to a cardiologist. I had had acute stroke symptons ignored by A&E . Now I am seizing up with pain & stiffness lasting only 12 hrs or until up chronic uti medication .

Amitriptyline and arrythmia
I had no idea that amitriptyline can interfere and cause problems with arrythmia in the heart..I recently had a
cardiac

has anyone else been affected by their mother's taking stilbesterol (DES)?
in 1953 my mother was prescribed the oestrogenic stolbesterol after 10 years of miscarriages, and told bed rest + this med for 9 months could help her carry a baby full term. she was delighted to avoid another miscarriage, but upset when the news broke in '71 that stilbesterol had been banned internationally

Life as it has been for me since I can remember.
My name is Jenn Gallegos. I am trying to find out if it would be worth my time and money to travel in order to see a specialist for Antiphospholiipid Syndrome. I would like to provide some background information about me and how these antibodies have completely brought my life to a sudden halt.

It's all new to me
Wow almost a relief to have a cause (spontaneous artery thrombosis) of the heart attack and
cardiac
arrest
that I had back at the end of April beginning of May.

Asthma and food allergies
He did have a severe attack in August resulting in a
cardiac
arrest
(the reason they have now taken my suspicions of allergies seriously at last!) Also, one twin has a Ige result of 107 (the one stated as severe asthmatic), the other of 230. this seems a massive difference to me.

Sons Inquest/General moan
Our local ones are trained to a basic level 2, which means they were unable to attend when Jords had a
cardiac
arrest
due to his asthma attack, and we live in a rural area. The ambulances took 25 mins for heaven sake, by then Jords didnt stand a chance!

Hello!
I've had numerous respiratory arrests, a
cardiac
arrest
and a heart attack. I sometimes get coronary artery spasms which are like angina, generally this only happens when my lungs are misbehaving. I'm currently in the middle of a looooooooong battle to be allowed to return to work.
