RIP Our Son, Owen Aged 8

Our son Owen, 8, died on the 24th May in hospital after suffering a cardiac arrest following an admission with his asthma. Although he had been diagnosed as brittle, he was an active and fun loving little boy who tried to not let his asthma get him down. We are waiting on post mortem results and its all such a shock. He had only been playing football that lunch time and he had SATS of 97% whilst on the ward. We can't understand what happened and I doubt we will ever come to terms with it. We miss him so much, he was the centre of our World and life just seems unbearable without him. RIP Owen - Mummy and Daddy will always love you XXX

Little boy who had been at nursery with my granddaughter died recently. Like Owen, he had a few health problems but seemed fine the day before so It was sudden and unexpected. The whole community felt it. You are very brave rowenaJ to come and let us know about Owen. I salute you and send much sympathy and hugs. Owen playing football at lunchtime must remain a happy memory for you. He was enjoying himself as all kids do.
