Palpitations - ruining my life
I like to run and am worried that I may go into sudden
cardiac
arrest
. Plus I feel very guilty because I went on a crash diet a few years ago and perhaps the problems are due to an electrolyte imbalance at this time. If anyone has a similar experience I'd love to hear from you.

Getting nowhere, short story long!
Had knee pain 3 weeks. Seen GP twice, physio once. Took a week off, went back to work last Tuesday. GP said ligament damage, I wasn't convinced. Physio did thorough knee assessment and said arthritis. Knee stiff all the time, swells if I walk on it & hurts. Fingers hurt when I type, got big lump on one

Cardiac arrest recovery
I had a
cardiac
arrest
in June was in a coma for 3 or 4 days. I have had a pacemaker fitted & feel great, however I do get out of breath, when I out walking or working around the house. I would love to go out socialising & have a few drinks.

Hi I,m 59 and 6 weeks ago I had a
cardiac
arrest
and a massive heart attack. The hospital call me a miracle as I've come away with no brain damage just a little slower than usual. I'd not felt poorly it was completely out of the blue. After 5 weeks in hospital I,m now home recovering.

Feeling Helpless
Last March after getting over the flu, I had a incident of tachycardia that converted to afib. I stayed overnight in the hospital and had all the blood tests, chest xray, ekgs, heart ultrasounds done. Nothing showed up. The cardiologist put me on Cartia XT 180mg and Flecanide 100mg a day. After 6 mo,

Had my First and hopefully only Cardiac Ablation
Everything went well and I hurt everywhere on my body. Was totally out for about 5 hours and they went in thru my groin area with two catheters either side of my groin to facilitate the ablation plus one for urinary, ouch. Had to spend the night in hospital. Not as traumatic as I was expecting. In

Laryngitis, costochondritis and chest infections.
Has anyone else experienced a higher than normal amount of laryngitis and nflammation of the cartilage that joins your ribs to your breastbone (costochondritis). Every winter when the colds and flu go around, I get laryngitis, lose my voice and do everything to prevent a chest infection. This year, a

I Lost 10 Babies In Miscarriages and Stillbirth
I was four when my parents discovered that my genotype is SS. As an adolescent growing up with Sickle Cell Disease, finding a man that would marry me was my greatest worry. I met my husband in 2007 after the completion of my first degree. I confirmed that his genotype is AA before I became committed.

Not seeing but not a vision problem...
Hi guys, so for those of you who know me, my father in law suffered a pretty horrific hypoxia injury after a
cardiac
arrest
which lasted 50 minutes. He was down for 50 minutes but luckily, he had someone performing top shelf CPR on him the whole time.

Lerg stops play... Boo!!
Well after waiting from October to start ivf round 2 in January we had a few pitfalls... First, my partner was a post Christmas 5lb over the BMI so had to lose it in 5 days or they wouldn't sign us up - the truly marvellous man worked hard, came under target on time and we were back on track... Then

Post Ablation for SVT
Hi. I'm wondering if it's normal to feel weak after cardiac ablation? Also is it normal to develop depression, anxiety and or sleep disturbances? I was told I'd be better in a week. I had my procedure on November 16, 2016 and I still feel like my get up and go got up and left. I have so much to do and
