My endocrinologist in Houston prescribed Fosteum Plus. It has 500mg of calcium with vitamin K and other important ingredients. Anyone taking it? You don’t hear much mentioned about it even though it’s been around several years.

My doctor will be prescribing it as soon as we complete a round of annual blood tests. If you search, there was a discussion about it on here a while back.

The website says it is a mix of genistein (soy), Calcium, zinc and Vit D3. Also prescribed for hot flashes. There are some reported issues with hair loss and some nausea. Please keep us informed of how it works for you.

No side effects so far after taking 5 months. Nothing was mentioned about Fosteum Plus at the Bone Summit by any of the speakers. Was just wondering why since it’s been around at least 7 years.

I have been taking it for several years with no side effects as far as I can tell (prescribed by doctor). I have been holding steady in the last 2 Dexas so I am going to continue using it.
