Is my panic negating the anesthetics?
I don't like the dentist I don't like the doctor I don't like the hairdresser. Anybody that comes at my face with sharp things I have serious issues with. Knowing this my primary care provider advised me to take a larger dose of Valium an hour before the appointment and when the appointment started.

Osteoporosis worries
The rheumatologist said the results showed I only needed to take
calcium
tablets but I’m not convinced. Years of low activity and weakness leave me worried about osteoporosis?! Any advice appreciated 🙂

Information about REMS Echolight scan for osteoporosis
I’ve avoided taking meds of any kind and only take
calcium
, vitamin D, glucosamine and chondroitin supplements . Based on info here, I am adding vitamin k to this list. Appreciate any thoughts you might have.

Still no treatment
I take vit C, D3, Magnesium K2, and
calcium
. I also have osteoporosis because of medication to treat my liver conditions but I expect a dodgy thyroid can cause this too. This thyroid nodule feels different each day it gets irritated when under attack from antibodies. I can feel it constantly.

Want to mange this thing!
Now 2 ablations later I am on Verapamil (
calcium
channel blocker), Flecainide and blood thinner, called Xarelto. In about 2 weeks I want to stop Flecainide and monitor. Will use PIP (either Sotalol or Flecainide) if I have episodes. Cardiologist has labelled me as having Afib, but I am not so sure.

Vitamin D3 dosage ?
My GP’s advice was to know take 1000iu of D3 (but I don’t listen to GP much as they’ve not been of much help in the past and I’ve lost my trust in them) Can anyone advise me on how much D3 to take now for maintenance as I hardly get any sun at all and how much K2 to take to prevent build up of

CRP/ESR and calcium levels
I have had Polymyalgia for three and a half years now, and after many ups and downs am now on 6mg Prednisolone together with 1 Lansoprazole tablet per day. I have been having blood tests every 3/4 months, and have always had both CRP and ESR checked. Had a blood test done on Tuesday, and saw that there

TSH, T3, T4.. Levels
One thing he mentioned when asked about
Calcium
and PTH levels was about range and just out of RANGE ie.... Say your level of
calcium
was 2.30 to 2. 35 for a lot of your life, then a sudden
calcium
of 2.59 to 2.60 would be over range for you.. Eventho the range is 2.10 to 2.60..
