What dosage of calcium supplement is recommended when on prednisolone?
I advised him that I was taking Caltrate which has 600mg
calcium
/200 IU Vit D3, and in addition taking an extra 2000 IU Vit D3 and a tablespoonful of cod liver oil every day. I eat full fat yoghurt every day, cheese and any other
calcium
rich foods I can lay my hands on.

Zoledronic acid infusion - side effects sound horrendous. Any advice?
Currently researching
Calcium
from marine source - (seaweed) because the standard
calcium
carbonate supplement is mostly peed out when blocked by pred and proton pump inhibitors. Also looked at
Calcium
hydroxyapatite but this can cause more reflux with those who already suffer from it.

Is there someone that had Heart attack doing heavy work out as if had never had a Heat attack before ?
I recently found out I have calcified artery(
calcium
score 24 in my LDA) I train really hard as if I had nothing, sometimes during the training I think about it, could heavy training destabilize the plaque or damage much more the artery ?

Consultant wants to see me
My head is now dong overtime as I have no symptoms and I’m sure as I’ve always had high cholesterol it’s a
calcium
issue as I can’t think why else he wants to see me . Surely it’s not to tell me I’m fine . Thoughts appreciated

Optimal testing regimen
I am at 3.7 up from 3.1 after recovering from a severe infection caused by radiation therapy; it was 4.1 before dx 8
Calcium
(at the border of the low of the reference range, and slightly down possibly because of zinc supplementation) 9 High-sensitive CRP.

Wildly fluctuating high and low blood pressure
I’m not sure why there are such significant ranges in my BP in spite of being on the
calcium
channel blocker and the Rampiril. My recent blood and urine tests were normal.

What I have learned from 1 year with Early Onset PD - "Glass Half Full"
•Supplements – lots of people advised lots of things and at the moment I am taking Magnesium, Vitamin B,C,D, Turmeric,
Calcium
•Mannitol – an industrial sugar – it has been recommended by many. Although not medically proven on humans there are those who say it works wonders.

My New Supplement List (I cut a bunch of players)
This has magnesium and
calcium
in it. 4: Curcumin with both meals. Make sure it is 95% curcuminoids. 5: 100 mg of selenium with 750 mg of Inositol because I have Hashimoto's and I read a study where they converted a bunch of people with sub-clinical HT to euro-thyroid using about this protocol.

Update on elbow
Calcium
levels are still well within normal limits so the bone isn’t breaking down to the point of it being released into his blood. He keeps fighting.. I’m so proud of him..
