Advised to take vitamin D but also on Warfarin
Problem is that I'm reading that those taking vitamin D should also take Vitamin K2 to ensure
calcium
deposits into the bones and not the arteries. For those of us on Warfarin what are we advised to do? Are we predisposing ourselves to blocked arteries while avoiding clots?

Calcium excess might lead to Parkinson's
Did you take a
calcium
supplement for stronger bones? https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2018/02/180219071758.htm A point that should be made: The plaques in your bloodstream are mostly cholesterol and
calcium
, but the doctor recommends a lower cholesterol diet and doesn't mention the
calcium
.

Acerola powder and it’s composition. Is calcium a problem
My new brand of acerola powder contains
calcium
, which my old brand probably did too, given that it’s a natural product but I was wondering, is 8.5mgs daily all that much and irrespective of whether or not it is, should it be avoided? Please check my calculations.

Interesting article on iron, fortified foods etc
Don’t eat iron-rich foods with
calcium
.
Calcium
inhibits iron absorption. If you want to increase iron absorption in your meal and can tolerate dairy, don’t eat them together. This could mean not adding cheese to your eggs or goat cheese to your spinach salad. Eliminate refined grains and flour.

The French Paradox - Why the French Have the Lowest Incidence of Heart Disease in the Developed World
K2 moves
calcium
from the bloodstream to the bones where it is needed. Most people don't have sufficient levels of K2 in their diet or through supplements, so the
calcium
remains in their bloodstream and calcifies the arteries over time.

Hi everyone So I’ve just finished with the zoladex injections. They were useless for me and gave me heavy periods. I’m up for trying anything. Pills patches creams drops. Anything I’ll give a go. Menopause did not stop the pain. ☹️. Crazy really as I first went to see a doctor for heavy periods in

Calcichew and K2
It has
calcium
and D3. I've read that one should take K2 to make sure the
calcium
goes to the bones and not arteries so why was I not put on K2 also. Do any of you taking Calcichew take D3 and if so how much? I'd love your thought on this. Thanks in advance.

Afib once and done?
My
calcium
score was moderate and my cholesterol is 137. So, is it possible to have one event of afib, and it was caught totally by coincidence the day of my check-up and never have been able to detect another occurrence since October of 2020?

Want to stop Prolia
I take raw
calcium
, vit d3, magnesium. I also take long walks and, up until a recent wrist fracture, did kettlebells. I find that the medical establishment ( which I was professionally a part of) is narrow minded and pro big Pharm.
