Hi everyone
So I’ve just finished with the zoladex injections. They were useless for me and gave me heavy periods. I’m up for trying anything. Pills patches creams drops. Anything I’ll give a go. Menopause did not stop the pain. ☹️. Crazy really as I first went to see a doctor for heavy periods in 1989 when it all started. Ive just laughed my way through private gyne doctor number 5. He asked me why I was laughing so I told him. These drs (you mate I said!) need to be upfront with women and young girls that endometriosis and adenomyosis you cannot successfully treat, you do not have a cure. ( every dr both nhs and private think they do) And everyone is different and has it different. No 2 days are the same. And you mate are a MAN. You have not got a clue. (He started sweating then!) if you carried a hot poker up ur bum everyday whilst ur nuts 🥜 were being squeezed constantly then you have experienced a tiny bit of what it’s like. Years ago women were given Valium and were fobbed off constantly blaming womens mental health. turning them into opioids dependent. Be honest and upfront with women. Everyone has the same story to tell. It’s sad but true. My beautiful daughter who is only 14 has a painful heavy period every 16-18 days. I already know what’s coming for her. Some days will be awful and the pain is at its worse. The days it’s manageable don’t let it ruin your day. Lots of love to everyone.
