Two rounds. 7 eggs. ONE EARLY BLASTOCYST. failed fresh transfer. Should we DNA fragmentation test before moving to the next stage?
Hey Everyone! I wonder if it is a good idea to get a DNA fragmentation and oxidisation test done on husbands sperm. I don’t know the recent figures off hand but they were pretty bad - we were having ICSI. The embryologist seems to think the sperm looked ok….and blamed the eggs...but Im so not convinced

parathyroid specialists contd
I have not completed my question regarding low calcium level and dry mouth following my total thyroidectomy. I understand that low calcium is a typical symptom of parathyroid being damaged .I am taking calcium supplements and alfacalcidol - a form of Vit d enzyme to help with calcium absorption but

Hi, apologies for long post. I’m a 34yo female. I’ve had symptoms that line up with hypothyroid symptoms for years. Had a few tests when my eczema flared up really badly around 12 years ago, which coincides with the time that a lot of the symptoms began. Have had fatigue basically since catching Epstein-Barr

I heard that when you stop PROLIA. you need a Rebound med. BISPHOSPHONATE. I cant take that med. Is there

Feeling anxious hopeless desperate and overwhelmed, sad
I’m so down and anxious today really struggling. I can’t think of anything else but fertility and my struggling relationship. I am bleeding black gritty blood as a reminder. I had a negative test two days ago from a fresh transfer where we only got one embryo. . After the negative I drank wine and

phosphate
Good Evening, a little question. I was reading an article about white and whole grain bread. I believe with CKD it is advised to eat white bread due to lower phosphates. The article said that this is not always the case, as although whole grain has more phosphates we only absorb 20-50% of the phosphates

ppis or famatodine reduce calcium absorption ,so with severe osteoporosis would it be better to take a calcium supplement.

GCA confirmed after Ear pain
Just to let you know that the result of my temporal artery biopsy has been confirmed as positive today. I had the biopsy on monday, just 3.5 weeks after initially going to the GP with earache. I am amazed actually as it was a result of knowledge on this forum that prompted me to go back to my GP, after

Osteopenia?
A chat with the doctor's nurse and the diagnosis of of osteopenia. Osteopenia is the first stage before osteoporosis. Osteoporosis is when you break bones by falling. I fall now and then but it's because of peroneal nerve entrapment. The peroneal nerve lifts my toes. Without its help I trip

I need some help with this
I am having the most painful but weird cramping. It is only a night and it is getting worse, not better. Yesterday I had them and I did not have dialysis because we infiltrated the fistula, AGAIN. We thought it was the iron I was taking, but I stopped that last week. These cramps are not in my calves

Thoughts on Denosumab in my case
MO is suggesting Denosumab after my Dexa scan. Bone density normal in spine, osteopenia in right hip and osteoporosis on one part of left hip. I am wondering if with a -2.7 it is possible to control/improve with supplements and weight bearing exercises? What are you taking? Have added calcium. The

Osteoporosis
I had PMR from 2016-2019. Took Alendronic Acic for about 6 weeks but stopped because it was affecting my throat. Had bone density scan around 2017 which showed some osteoporosis and some osteopenia (record has been lost due to GP/house move). I was offered an Infusion of AA which I had in 2017/2018.

Pluvicto pain
my father has undergone 3 infusions of Pluvicto. He has psma and fdg completed with no significant discordance. I understand tumour flare tends to occur within the first week after infusion but he tends to have more discomfort towards the end of the cycle. We aren’t sure if it’s bone pain or muscle
