I posted last year regarding thyroid nodules and someone was asking about thyroid blood tests which I didn’t really have. Well…..things have progressed and I wondered if anyone in the community has any advice on my latest ultrasound results. I had it done privately as NHS was completely dismissive and I am grateful I did as I now have a new 4th nodule 5mm, a new very large swelling and a shrinking thyroid.
My blood tests were absolutely middle of the range but I was very dehydrated. I have problems with calcium levels not depleting. I have sent details to the doctor because of breathlessness and have an appointment with gp next week. Only I am not very confident as I showed the results in October and had the reply that it was too complicated and they would have to talk to someone….. I guess newly qualified and not a full gp.
In a lot of pain these past few weeks and wondering how to get NHS to help.
How should I prepare for the GP and possibly tests?
