Armless and Frozen Peas
For today's amusement it's my arms that are giving me the most pain, closely followed by the shoulders and lower back. Me thinks a game of windmills is out. Today is The Boys 14th birthday, he's happily scoffing jerky and playing a new Xbox game, gift from one sister. Funny to think that about this

Our BWS journey so far
Our daughter was diagnosed with BWS at birth. My anti natal scans were showing that I was having a very large baby and I was told there was a possibility of BWS the day before she was born. I was booked in for a C-section the following day, and we went home and researched the condition. She was born

Pelvic Pain: The Role of Scar Tissue
Scar tissue is a common contributing factor to pelvic pain. The good news is: it’s an issue that’s highly treatable with PT. In this blog, I plan to give you the rundown of how scar tissue can impair the pelvic floor as well as how PT and self-treatment can successfully treat these impairments.

Abdominal wall Endometriosis...anyone one else have this?
Hi well i had a scan a few weeks ago which revealed a second lump the size of a walnut on my c-section scar. I had the first lump the size of an orange removed back in march. It turns out i have a rare form of abdominal wall Endometriosis. When i had my c- section some endo tissue was left in my abdomen

Anyone had vaginal birth after third degree tear?
Four years ago had my 1st child. It was a 10lb baby, difficult and prolonged birth and I suffered a 3rd degree tear. While the tear healed I had a lot of granulation tissue which I had surgically removed 5 months later. It had really put me off having any more kids but I've made the decision and now

Hi, has anybody else gone through pregnancy here with fibro??
I am due to see a consultant in cpl of wks but wondered if anyone here has jhad this experience, i think m,y main worry is that they will want me to have a C-section!!!! That terrifies me as my previous 3 were natural births with the help for my back of an epidural. I must say though that up to now (

Worried Mum and new to site.
My daughter had baby by c section 8 weeks early and with IUGR and low amniotic fluid. (She had a previous ectopic pregnancy about 12 years ago) 4 days later she suffered a splenetic infarct, had an infection and tested positive to lupus anticoagulant. Dr said she had sticky blood. She was in hospital

Restart of RA medication after an operation
I've had a TURP last week. If you don't know what that is then please ignore this question. 4 days after the op I re-started Sulfasalazine. Today I am about to re-start MTX. CIMZIA will have to wait another 3 weeks at least, I was told. Has anybody been in a similar situation? Are there things I should

Please Please Help, do not understand what my GP has told me and unsure as whether I have Hughes or not.
I think (think being the operative word) that I have recently been diagnosed with Hughes, and have had no real help or information from my GP and thankfully found your website, where I'm hoping that I can find out more info and receive support from members on here. Newbie to the site but old hand at dealing with RA. This is my story...
Hi everybody. I thought I'd introduce myself. I am 48 years old and have had RA since 1973. So, I'm afraid this is rather a long post so forgive me but I hope it will help some of you dealing with RA. Originally diagnosed with Still's, my parents were told there was every likelihood I would
