My experience.. can anyone help?
This is my first post and I’m a little nervous as I’ve never really done this kind of thing of talking with strangers. I’ve had endo since I was young, I’m waiting for my 3rd surgery. This time seems so different to the other times. So apologies in advance for the long post but this is what’s happened

From February this year, the pain started to come back and has gotten progressively worse. I have been taking prescription Co-codamol

Timeline and help
Results of first 2 blood tests, 30 days apart. Most tests not repeated. Never tested for anything but tsh before, which was always in range. TsH 1.26 (1.8-2.5) Total T4 14.6 first test, 10.0 2nd test 30 days later (6.0-12) Doc said first test had to be an error as I am clearly no hyper T3 free 2.5

What is the safe time between taking levothyroxine and omeprazole, 6 hours?
Hi I'm new to hypothyroidism after Radioactive iodine treatment and have graves. I'm also still under adjustment of levothyroxine 100mcg at present and am getting heartburn quite a lot. I used to take omeprazole for acid reflux and understand that it affects the absorption of levothyroxine. Can I still

Hashimoto's and iodine

So so tired of trying to get well with such poor results, 9 years on and I feel so depressed. (Graves’ disease) ( blood tests inc in post).
Is there anyone with Graves’ disease that has managed long term remission?. For 9 years I have tried and only managed 18 months remission. I try to do everything to help myself. With health, I don’t drink or smoke, eat well and exercise moderately, take vitamins etc. Here are my latest bloods after 6

Lung crackles
Hi, since Feb last year I started noticed a crackling sound coming from my lungs. It's worsened when I take a diazipam or codeine which I understand are repristory depressants. I hear it when I'm lying down and when I'm inhaling not exhaling. I really ignored it for quite some time believing it was stomach

Consolidation run 6 🥵
Yep, you guessed it. It was hot and hard work. Yesterday, after hauling sacks of Horticultural grit about, and moving heavy terracotta pots that I had planted up, my back (which is never great at the best of times, having been blessed with scoliosis at birth, which ALWAYS leads to osteoarthritis) decided

Pain after laparoscopy
I had my first laparoscopy 9 days ago for excision surgery of deep infiltrating endometriosis. Luckily it wasn’t too extensive but they told me they couldn’t get it all as it has infiltrated deeply into my womb. I had a deep adhesion attaching my womb to my bowel and some smaller patches on my ovary.

Radioactive Iodine Treatment or Thyroidectomy?
Hello! I was diagnosed with Graves Disease in May 2017, my levels of TSH came down to normal range and so I was taken off Carbimozole in March 2019. Two weeks ago I was admitted to hospital with a heart rate of 160, where they'd found I was down to 7.5 stone and unfortunately that my hyperthyroidism

Indefinite antithyroid drug therapy in toxic Graves’ disease: What are the cons
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3830376/ Whilst I don't agree especially with the cost effectiveness bits comparing ATD therapy to RAI or TT, this piece is chocked full of details about ATD, RAI, TT. Worth a read since many of us always wonder how long we can go on with Graves on ATD therapy

Desperate for sleep. Cannabis?
Ropinerole and Gabapentin haven't worked for me. My body has become tolerant of Codeine and Tramadol for the time being so I need to have a long holiday from them to reset my receptors. The torture of extreme sleep deprivation is driving me to consider illegal cannabis as an edible. If anyone on here
