Ongoing lower pain- any advice as desperate for help

Hi. I wonder if anyone knows what the severe pain I get over my groin area is? Its also outside my vagina and the pain is like a dagger being twisted constantly. Only thing that eases it is strong codeine together with hot water bottle and laying down. It is very tiring. Have had bowel and gyni specialists but said there's nothing there! Even bladder is normal they say but always have blood in my urine when bad. Help!..

My first episode was similar to that. I felt like I was being stabbed repeatedly in the Vaginal area. I went to ER and other doctors and they didn’t know what it was. Finally I went to a gym pain specialist who figure Out that it was pelvic floor spasms. I’m not sure if that’s what you’re getting but it’s worth taking a look into. I now go to Pelvic floor physical therapy and take suppositories for when the pain gets really bad.

I don't know about the blood part but I agree ...its probably pelvic floor spasms...I am also in pelvic pt and I also have spasms but mine are rectal...pelvic floor dysfunction takes many forms and can be very debilitating if you don't get treatment...I had to go to the emergency room 9 months ago when it started.... I also hàve valium suppositories....I have an oral muscle relaxer too ..it takes a long time to treat because it is retraining the muscles back to their natural state.....you may want to read headache in the pelvis and pelvic pain explained....only pelvic floor physical therapists really can get you started with evaluation...meanwhile yes warm baths and heating pads help and you will get stretches and breathing excercises which really help...feel free to message me anytime because I know how scared it can make you feel

You have to ask for a pelvic floor physical therapist.... They are usually a subcategory of a physical therapy place but it specifically got to be a pelvic floor physical therapist with you Google that you will find some in your area ....are you in the UK or USA?

So Depending on what area you live in the UK just Google pelvic floor physiotherapy and you should find help...it sounds like you have pelvic floor dysfunction so I would look for someone who specializes in that
