Worried...
SO I have had SLE for 7 years and never really any major issues. I was on plaqunil 200 mgs for the whole time and blood work was normal. Then I did labs and within one year the WBC count dropped from 3.5 to 1.5. The doc took me off plaqunil and tested me three times again for 5 months and the WBC increased

At Peace - Will I ever get there?
I will be 2 years quit on 27 August - I used champix and 3 courses to get me up to my 6 month mark as I had so many failed attempts I have lost count (definitely over 10 times in the last 5 years!!) finished the course too early on previous attempts and relapsed immediately. I am delighted how far I

Brain injury advice
Hi, my brother recently suffered a hypoxic brain injury. He's biting his bottom lip very severely. I'm bothered about him biting him through it. Has anybody had the same experience who can give me some advice about prevention etc? He is currently still in hospital! Thankyou

Anxious About Accidents and Death
I am 19 and I get anxious almost every day about someone I love dying, especially in an accident. It is taking a huge toll on my mental and emotional health. For example, right now I am terrified because my boyfriend is on a plane. I just can't stop myself. I always picture my loved ones in accidents

My 9 year old daughter is been seen by the hospital consultant for daytime dampness and secondary nocturnal enuresis. We have tried lots of things including alarms, desmopressin and anticholinergics. We recently underwent video urodynamics to be told that the bladder is acting normally. I was trying

A Long Journey Home
When I fell on my head in July 2000 I had just registered my own limited company. I had a brilliant career planned and I felt as though I could accomplish anything I set my mind to. My early story is full of what many would call catastrophe, and it certainly felt that way to me at the time. Before I

Hemolytic enemia??
I have had terrible issues with my red blood counts. Even after transfusions they would fall back down. I eventually had to see a hematologist before I could continue with chemo. Long story short- my body is destroying my red blood cells very quickly despite the increase in production of them. I

Moving from movicol to senna
After 7 years of movicol my 10 yr old still leaks and very rarely knows when he needs to go to the loo. He manages this by going regularly after breakfast and evening meal. He's on 1/2 a sachet in am and 1/2 in pm. If we cut down further he gets constipated then has bigger accidents. He is a major

Can I get rid of my medication soon?
I am taking meds right now, for almost a month, since I just got diagnosed with GAD recently when I had my severe attack, all annoying symptoms like hot flashes, foggy head, disorientation, no sleep for 24 hours, then first time to consult Psychiatrist too, then she gave me these meds, well those meds

complete fear of surgery after post concussion syndrome
My mum had experienced some PCS after a head injury. She is in her 80s. She has been improving and her memory is much better. Her head injury seems to have made her more cautious and scared than before. This is going to have very serious consequences for her. I have sent this question to headway's help
