Shoes!!!
Hey folks, I wondered if anyone had found any good suppliers for comfortable yet stylish shoes, I have
bunions
on my feet as well as RA which makes it difficult to find suitable shoes. I generally go for wide fitting but need something with a padded sole for comfort.

Don't know what to do next.
I believe I now have Morton's neuromas in both feet and
bunions
as well as O.arthritis.In 2002 gave up work due to pain, referred to rheumatology, three years trying meds, couldn't tolerate them so dismissed with no further help. Underactive thyroid, believe I have Hashimoto's as I have nodules.

I can`t take the constipation that comes with codeine any longer...despite taking Senokot max, figs and the syrup that the doc prescribed me
pain in my hip and my toe joint, I am now trying Ibruprofen max 400mg (x2) twice a day (this is day one) & see if this deals with my pain and doesn't give me constipation, failing that, shall maybe go back on naproxen (which is the medication I was prescribed originally for my painful toe joints (

I have had RH for 2 years now. I was diagnosed when I had bunion surgery. I thought it was the bunions that were making so much pain.
My problem is now my Humira has stopped working in my wrists. I am in a lot of pain. What other treatments are out there. I am really scared to go in and try something else. I went on the Humira kicking and screaming because I was scared of the side effects and I don't like prednisone as I am scared

The Incredible Non-Performing Body
I feel obliged to perform to the GP, (maybe get my
bunions
out). You know the drill: you can't get an appointment for love nor money: if you get one the same week, then you've won the lottery.

Anyone else have bunions due to CP? How do you cope?
I've had
bunions
(both feet) since I was 11. I'm 24 now and have avoided the idea of surgery for years.

My running drought is over!
3 weeks after I had to take off my running shoes and give my legs a break, on the advice of a podiatrist, due to shin splints,
bunions
, pronation and ridiculously hypermobile feet...I got back out there again yesterday.

Bad news from the podiatrist this morning :-(
Good news is that they have not been caused by over training necessarily, but by a combination of pronation,
bunions
and hypermobility in my foot and toe joints.

I have
bunions
arthritis in the small bones of my feet and constant pins and needles like pain in my feet. Are these connected to my hypothyroidism?

Bunionectomy 6 months ago. Pain got better but is now getting worse.
I had a
bunions
tommy 6 months ago (before I suspected EDS). The healing was good up until a couple of weeks ago. Suddenly the pain is much worse. Why would that be?

Does anyone have any advice on coping with bunion pain. The doctor doesn't seem to want to know but I am in constant pain.

Maybe it's hypermobility syndrome
Then recently the podiatrist said I needed new insoles for my very high arches causing heel pain,
bunions
and ankle pain. Then a surgeon operated on my bunion and said i have osteoarthritis. Then a rhuematologist said I had sesamoiditis (inflammation of thumb bones).

Although I am wide across the toe area (
bunions
) I have narrow heels and feel as though I have to tie them very tight so they don't slip. I am thinking of going to a running shop in the UK when I am back in a few weeks to see what shoe they recommend.

The Diafoot Diabetic and Orthopedic footwear
A broad heel base and supportive sole are key to prevent medical concerns such as
bunions
, hammer toes, and lower back pain from prolonged standing.

RA nodules and bunions
Not a nice combination! I have two nodules on my feet which do not trouble me much but the cluster of them on top of the bunion really hurt. I am very active, not fashion conscious, but struggle to find shoes to fit and no longer go for long walks. Nodules on my hands are not pretty but causing no
