I had a bunions tommy 6 months ago (before I suspected EDS). The healing was good up until a couple of weeks ago. Suddenly the pain is much worse. Why would that be?

I'm afraid I can't help you, Rowantree. Maybe your doctor could help. Would it be possible to ask him or her?

I would take a trip to your Dr for a check up.

There are several possibilities I know have occured within my family - the operation scar tissue has got caught upon a nerve/the operation scar tissue is affecting a particular joint or ligament/the operation has triggered symptoms of another auto-immune illness.

Whatever is causing your discomfort your Dr should be able to shed more light & advise on the best way to remedy the pain. Best wishes & good luck.
