wearing a mask for work
hey guys, this post isn't a question mostly just a rant about face masks. So I'm a waitress at an outdoor dining restaurant and I have to wear a mask the entire time I'm at work because I have contact with so many people. We're very short staffed right now because of covid which means I am the only waitress

Any info on Drugs that interfere with asthma and COPD?
I have an asthma-COPD overlap. Several drugs seem to worsen my breathing. Proton pump inhibitor (stomach acid suppression) is one of them (sometimes even antibiotics). Though the interference of asthma drugs with heart disease is well documented, the interference of other drugs with Lung disease is not

I've got a cold. It's the first one since I got diagnosed with Asthma. My chest feels like somethings sitting on it, my breathing is faster, I keep coughing, my throat hurts, I have more flam and my nose is blocked. Possible stoma?
Hi all, During my consultation I was pleased to be told that the risk of a stoma although increased due to how my bowel is attached near rectum, would be low. Surgeon said he was confident that it would not be needed. However, I have just received the letter he has sent to my endo socialist to proceed

Delicate??????
Forget the word ādelicateā when discussing bowel problems!!!! Everybody has bowels, and bowel activity. I have had systemic sclerosis for thirty years. I have had five operations, and have ended up with a colostomy, and mesh for a hernia. All this because of slow motility, and lack of peristalsis in

Is it really asthma?
I'm just about to go up on my Fostair from 100 to 200 after struggling to breathe during the last 3 weeks, but I'm starting to wonder if it's really asthma I have. When I'm having a an attack, I don't respond to salbutamol or prednisolone and I never wheeze, yet sometimes I feel like I'm suffocating/
