Support and hope
Was diagnosed with anxiety and depression in 2009 (aged 57) after I was extremely Bullied at work. I am divorced, and this was a job I trained for and attended school at night so that I could earn my living and take care of my teenage daughter. Sure, I asked my supervisor and then HR for help. None

A good side effect to blood pressure medication.... 🙂
But a pleasant bonus has been that my
breathing
has been easier. Not with my
exercise
breathlessness, but the everyday poorer
breathing
that my asthma (or is there a COPD element too?) seems to cause me despite Montelukast and various inhalers.

This post mite it a little long sorry in advance. Lately, I've been having a very hard time with my anxiety but I don't want to be stuck so I'm asking for advice. First question I know working out is very good for anxiety and I did a good job of working out in the summer but when school started up again

Advice on coping with anxiety at night and first thing in the morning?
Although there are good days and bad days with my anxiety, the one thing that has never really changed is my anxiety increasing as I'm trying to go to bed, and first thing in the morning. As much as I try to unwind with deep breathing exercises, my mind races at night. Not only with inconsequential things

It’s getting to be too much
Yesterday was horrible for my anxiety. I had what I classify as 3 small anxiety attacks. I can’t breath well, there is a lump in my throat, I can’t focus or calm down, and I cry for no reason. It’s getting to be so awful and I really don’t know what to do. I’ve tried talking to a counselor in the past

Recovering from flare up
Following my recent post, I thought I'd just ask to see if anyone has similar experiences when recovering from an attack or "exacerbation" as it says on my discharge letter. Symptoms had been playing up for about 3 weeks prior to a hospital stay for 5 days, had lots of tests for other things done to

I'm sorry I've not been around for a few days, sincerely sorry. I have a cold. Poor lulu has developed the nasty flu virus that is doing the rounds right now and mine is trivial in comparison. If any of you are suffering I know it's a worrying time as often chesty coughs can make your chest tight and

Suffering from Anxiety
Hello to you all. My name is Jeremy. Since June 2017, my life changed and it has been a struggle each and every day. I thought I was having a heart attack on July 3, 2017. I went to the e.r. and the tests showed no heart attack, I left the e.r. still having chest pains not knowing what in the world

My top tips living with severe asthma
Healthy diet and
exercise
. Yoga, walking. Using
breathing
techniques to keep bottom of lungs clear. Accepting limitations and finding new ways to enjoy activities without pushing or causing flare. Warm herbal teas with raw honey, lemon, grated ginger and tumeric.
