Another Pluvicto failure
I know many people have a positive experience with Pluvicto. My dad was fortunate enough to get a go, but after two infusions his PSA did a gigantic jump from 42 to 119, over only two weeks. His doctors are puzzled, and so are we. His condition has deteriorated rapidly over the last few weeks, and now

BRCA breast screening protocol
Hi All I was diagnosed with OC in Oct 2021 and told I was BRCA in Feb 2022. I had a mammogram and ultrasound a year ago and an MRI 6 months ago but no mammagram or ultrasound has been booked for me going forward, only MRI once per year. I had been told I would have all three once per year. My hospital

Recurrence with shockingly high CA-125
I am beyond despondent. I am in Canada and I feel so down right now. I need a lot of support because I need someone who can encourage me or who has examples of success. I have a few other posts but I didn't update them yet. Don't have much energy to do so. I am having a recurrence. It has returned

Clinical trials as a treatment option
When my mother was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer, I looked for clinical trials she could enter. I have worked in drug development for 12 years and yet it took me 6 hours to find the three most suitable clinical trials for her. In the next medical appointment, I presented those three trials to the oncologist

Senescent neutrophils and their subsequent impact on tumor progression and therapy resistance
I will comment after studying this for awhile, but it does open up an additional treatment path(s?) for PCa. (Excerpts) Calcinotto's team discovered that prostate tumor cells produce a molecule, ApoE, which can bind to and influence a type of immune cells, neutrophils, resulting in these cells acquiring

Finally , tests done and a consult.
Gleason 3+4. PSA 8. After MRI, biopsy and PSMA (clean), . I finally met with doctor. He seemed more interested in removal. I told him that was off of the table for me. He referred me to an RO, but I have a second consult set up Friday with Univ of Cincinnati. I was confused by his explanation when

Your cancer treatment record
Just before my o&v treatment commenced I was given ‘your cancer treatment record’ a little blue book, supplied by cancer research uk, as a place to jot treatments, questions, symptoms ect.
