When my mother was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer, I looked for clinical trials she could enter.
I have worked in drug development for 12 years and yet it took me 6 hours to find the three most suitable clinical trials for her. In the next medical appointment, I presented those three trials to the oncologist, who didn't even know those were available in the same city. He thanked me for finding those trials, as he thought some of his patients would also benefit from those trials.
I kept thinking: what happens to those patients and families that don't know how to technically identify a suitable clinical trial as I did for my mother?
I left my job and I created a free online platform with over 65,000 clinical trials globally where patients, their families, their nurses and their doctors can easily find and connect to the most suitable clinical trial within 5 minutes.
I genuinely hope this platform can help at least some of those that are suffering from incurable illnesses.
If you would like to know if there is a clinical trial for you, check the 'Match' section of the platform here: trials.clinicalnet.com/login

I think that is amazing and so needed. If you haven’t already (and I appreciate you’re probably very busy already doing this for free), t think the health pages in the national press would probably be very interested in this which would get the word out to even more. Thank you!
Hello Ellejayb. Your suggestion is a great idea. I tried contacting a couple of national press here in the UK, but I didn't get any response. Maybe the ask should come directly from patients or people not directly involved in the platform...?
This is incredible, I have a couple of social media pages I run for lung cancer, this needs to be shared far and wide ... thank you thank you thank you.
Such an important platform to share as widely and as loudly as possible to help patients, their families and medics and those running the trials who often struggle to recruit to them.
It can be heartbreaking to know that there are trials running that patients are unable to access and also unfair that so many trials take place in the same centres all the time whilst others never run any trials at all - but I guess that's another issue that needs tackling.
Thank you for sharing your impressive website, which must have been a huge undertaking and am sure it will help many looking for clinical trials no matter where they live.
Thank you all for your kind words. It's a free platform, so we are limited on what we can do to spread the word as we can't spend much. Currently, we rely on word-of-mouth to spread the message. We also want to educate people about clinical trials and the potential benefits they could offer. We are preparing a series of short testimonial videos (approximately 1 minute each) where patients who have participated in clinical trials share their experiences and insights that may be useful to other patients. If you know of anybody that would like to share their experience to help others, please let me know.
