Besremi and thyroid

Radiotherapy
I was diagnosed with
breast
cancer
back in May. I had the carcinoma which was about 5mm removed. Some adjuvant tissue tested positive and I am being treated with Letrozole. I start a course of radiotherapy on Monday (31st July). I have a very dry sore mouth and eyes and painful joints.

QOL - a verse
Another piece I wrote post RRP, as I was also a caregiver to my wife who was deep in treatment for
Breast

. Was tough on us both at that time. TOGETHER Endless days of fear and Endless nights of worry.

Reconstruction after Mastectomy
Happy Holidays!!! I was wondering if there's anyone who's had a mastectomy with reconstruction and regretted it. I'm 43 MBC and there's a mass in tge same breast they've been watching but I think it's time to have the mastectomy as a preventative measure. Anyone willing to share their experiences?

Bit shell shocked !!
I could have surgery as it is painful at times but it is the same side as
breast
cancer
and don’t want to risk lymphoedema or possible nerve damage. So all good. 😊 I have also during this time booked a rheumi appointment for last Wednesday.

Merry Christmas Despite Progression
Hello all! Today I’m supposed to be with my family in my hometown but found out Monday I have progression in my spine, ribs, pelvis and liver so spent this week in the hospital getting bone cement injection to repair a compound fracture in my spine and begin radiation. Thankfully I was released yesterday

New Normal
Good morning beautiful ladies 😀 This week I started my Taxol and Herceptin cocktail. Being my cancer mutated from HER2 low to HER2 positive with progression to liver this seems like the most head on approach. This is certainly a drastic change from what I was experiencing on Ibrance and Letrozole

COPD and Radiation for Breast Cancer
I am trying to find information on the potential effects on my existing COPD if I have radiation therapy for
breast
cancer
. I am being treated at a top cancer center in the US and they definitely promote lumpectomy plus radiation over mastectomy.

anyone else feel wierd after discontinuing Piqray / Faslodex?
Hi all, my docs took me off Piqray and Faslodex a week ago. Since then I’ve had worse night sweats and diarrhea then when I was on the drugs! Plus a lingering headache and overall yucky feeling. I assumed it would resolve after a couple days but it’s been a full week. Has anyone else experienced that

Reacting to piqray.
Don’t want to worry anyone, but just wanting to know if anyone has had this reaction to Piqray. I’m into my second week. On Piqray and Fulvestrant. At first I thought it was only my bottom, (left side) near site of injection, that was itchy. Then I started feeling a prickly feeling all over my body.
