anyone else feel wierd after discontinuing Piqray / Faslodex?

Hi all, my docs took me off Piqray and Faslodex a week ago. Since then I’ve had worse night sweats and diarrhea then when I was on the drugs! Plus a lingering headache and overall yucky feeling. I assumed it would resolve after a couple days but it’s been a full week. Has anyone else experienced that when going off these drugs?

I can’t help but I just wanted to say I hope it passes. It might just be a coincidence the timing? Have you considered doing a Covid test? I heard it’s rife again in some areas

And I’d certainly call your doctor as well, to be safe . Actually I caught my husband’s cold this week (not covid) and the first thing besides a bit of a sore throat was having the runs like x5 in about 1/2 hr! But then that was the end of that symptom, so weird! I was sleepy for a couple of days (also weird for a cold) and my bone mets have been aching terribly, which I’m still dealing with. Oh, and the one night I slept solidly with this cold, my night dress was partially soaked

Hi LDR1I am sorry you are going through this.

I had headaches, which I didn't have when on piqray and fulvestrant

I think it's just the body adjusting within 2 weeks I felt better.

I would talk to your medical team though to get a check up.

I have found though on all my treatments when I come off I had side effects. I think it's quite normal unfortunately.

me too. I went off in May. Like I was going through menopause again. It took a while I gained weight too. My body didn’t know what to do. I am going on TRUQAP which was approved in November. I have medistatic breast cancer and have all three mutations. I will start taking it in January with Fulvesterant shots. You take it for four days then three days off. Best to all of you.
