Breast cancer

Hi, I have been recently diagnosed with Stage 3 invasive duct breast cancer that has spread to my lymph nodes. Currently, it is only on my left breast, but after my MRI, they found 2 areas on my right breast that will be biopsied next week.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer in October 2024 and had a lumpectomy and sentinel lymph nodes removed. Thankfully the margins were clear around the removed tumour and no cancer detected in the lymph nodes.

I was diagnosed in February 2024 with invasive breast cancer just 4 months after my cleared mammogram. I accidentally found the 2 tumors. Had a mastectomy April 2024 with immediate breast reconstruction. After the expander protruded through the skin, 3 infections and surgeries later, it failed.

Today I found out that I have a second breast cancer. I was diagnosed with MBC in 2019 (ER/PR- Her2+)and recently had a mammogram that showed a tumor. The biopsy results show a second breast cancer(ER/PR+ Her2+). In the next two weeks I have a PET scan and Brain MRI.

. 🙏❤️ So I saw the surgeon on Friday, exactly a year since I was diagnosed with breast cancer. The good news is the skin biopsy is clear!

New here - I was recently diagnosed with bilateral IDC breast cancer, multiple masses in both. I have to have a dbl mastectomy. I’m in the process of meeting with a plastic surgeon for reconstruction and wondering if anyone has any insight on good questions to ask?

It's seems the surgical option is a mastectomy or I live with what's happened and carry around a badly scarred, painful hard lump of a breast. More worryingly there is concern I have another cancer.

I discovered a lump in my breast, had an MRI, biopsy, several scans and was diagnosed with stage 3C breast cancer. Started Anastrazole and Ibrance. After 2 weeks was taken off the Ibrance because wbc dropped too low.

I've just been diagnosed with early breast cancer. I've had mammogram, biopsy and mri. The lump is 3cm. I am awaiting a tests on my lymph nodes. Then have been told lumpectomy, radiotherapy and /or chemotherapy. It's oestrogen and progesterone driven. I am on hrt, I'm perimenopausal.

My latest tsh result was 2.3.I am also on 25mg of letrozole for breast cancer. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you

i have now been diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. i have been told i need a mastectomy. my surgeon is refusing to perform a breast reconstruction due to my cirrhosis. i am distraught at the thought of being flat. i am glad to say the prognosis for the cancer is good.

My mother is 44 years old and suffering with breast cancer since 7 years presently that spreads to her brain and bones, we given trastuzumab 16 cycles now again she progressed, my oncologist suggested trastuzumab emtansine is the only option, but we are not able to pay that much amount individually,

Hi, I have been living with stage iv breast cancer since January of 2020. My college friend was diagnosed with an early stage breast cancer also in 2020.

We have no family history of breast cancer so this diagnosis came as a big surprise to me. I'm learning all I can about the diagnosis, treatments, side effects and outcomes. It all seems a bit much and honestly at times it seems overwhelming.
