Advice? Anyone taking Herceptin Perjeta and Faslodex? And bye Ibrance
Hi everyone. My onc switched me off ibrance and Exemastane bc initial breast tumor is growing and has become resistant to these meds. I knew like all of us here that first line of treatment would end sometime (almost 4 years) but I’m really nervous about this new normal I’m entering into with 3 week

NGS Test/Next-Generation Sequencing Important to have done.
Hello friends. I just wanted to make sure that if you are able to have this testing done, it is really important for your health and treatments that are given for your TYPE of BC. I was dx in 2016 and MBC in 2019. Ibrance and Fasoldex lated aobut 2 years. I was and still am ER/PR + and HER2low, but

Has anyone been taking Verzenio for more than 2 years?
I was diagnosed with ILC stage 3, HER2 negative, ER positive, PR positive in November 2020. I had a mastectomy, chemo and radiatin and my scans showed no further evidence of cancer. I have been on anastrazole and in May 2021 I was started on Verzenio. They said it is only approved to be used for 2

exciting clinical trial
My very long time (20 years!) MBC changed from E+ to triple negative a few months ago and yesterday I was looking on line for clinical trials for TNBC and found one that looks exciting to me, whether I qualify for it or not. It's sponsored by Lyell Immunopharma and targets CAR T cells. I have no idea

Zometa side effects
Hello, My new oncologist prefers Zometa to Xgeva so I had my first infusion of this on Monday. Yesterday, Wednesday, was horrible, aches, bone pain, nausea, chills....really just awful all day. I can barely move this morning. Is this from the Zometa? Has anyone had these side effects? The new team

Heterogeneous Metastases?
I was first diagnosed Stage3 in Aug. 2014, ER+PR+Her2-. Found metastases in bones and lymph nodes in Dec. 2023, bioposied one node, same biomarkers. I was put on Tamoxifen which shrank many lesions, except for one. After that, I went through Tamoxifen, Letrozole + Kisqali, Faslodex + Kisqali, have scan

Anyone? 😁
LOL I’m popping on here, again, for your honest opinion and advice. I have been OFF all forms of treatment since the beginning of January (when I was told there was evidence that Ibrance and Anastrazole were failing). A brief stint with Xeloda (for 6 days...6 days of pure torture)…and to tell you

What was your lumpectomy recovery like?
I have a surgery date in a month for lumpectomy. I'm starting to rethink that. How was lumpectomy for you? Pain, mobility, appetite, appearance, etc.

Good Bye Xeloda
Turns out all my anxiety over taking Xeloda was warranted (for me). I wanted to THANK all of you beautiful people who helped me through my decision. I appreciate ALL of you so much!! I ended up starting it last Wednesday and my doctor lowered my dose to start. She put me on 1500mg twice a day. I

Dry frizzy hair due to MBC medication,
I’ve been on Ibrance and Faslodex for 4-1/2 years. Although I’m thankful that the meds have helped me so far, I would like to know if anyone has found a good shampoo and conditioner to help with dry, straight and frizzy hair, My old shiny and wavy hair changed significantly since start of MBC drugs

I was recently diagnosed with Stage 0 Noninvasive DCIS

cancer
, my surgery is scheduled for the 29th, however, during the MRI (which the Surgeon wanted before surgery) they found something very small in the left breast, that will be biopsied on the 19th.
