Muscles burning and breathless
I was diagnosed with COPD about 20 years ago because I was having trouble taking the trash to the road, walking to the mailbox, or pretty much any physical activity. Other than having trouble breathing my muscles would burn and just feel exhausted. I have been prescribed numerous prescription inhalers

Salt Spa
Has anyone used halo therapy as a form of preventative care? My daughter has been using sodium chloride through her nebulizer for many years. However, we have recently discovered a local salt spa. There is not a lot of research out there, but my daughter has had positive results from the times we

Holidays!
I’m an allergy driven severe asthmatic, first diagnosed 6yrs ago. Have had wet and cold summer holidays in the UK for the last 4yrs, three of which I ended up in A&E and stay in hospital. However this year I desperately aspire to some sunshine. Has to be a direct flight from Glasgow and somewhere with

Nebuliser Newbie
I am about to start an indefinite course on a colomycin nebuliser. How do other users cope when on holiday, particularly cleaning , sterilising and potential voltage changes.

Living with asthma is the hardest thing I face on a daily basis.
Hello, I use to have allergy induced asthma until 6 yrs ago Christmas night when I stoking a fire and it drew the moisture it off my lungs. Unaware that such a thing could cause a sudden attack, three hours later barely getting to my car and driving myself to the ER, breathing 70% room oxygen air. ER

Amazon
I bought an oximeter from Amazon this week for £18. It wasn't a problem, although reading is changing each time. I also bought a nebulizer for nearly £60 again from Amazon. This does the job well as the nhs don't provide them but as I needed the paramedics to come round with one it was much easier to

A and E = 7 hour wait
I had a bad asthma attack. Rang 999 and used my nebuliser. Paramedic arrived after an hour and advised us there were no ambulances available..so we took ourselves to Pilgrim Hospital in Boston. Arrived at 6.15pm feeling extremely ill. I finally received a nebuliser and if steroids at 1.am Then admitted

So sick of being sick!
I have been struggling with allergies, asthma and bronchitis for years and I have been getting a lot of flair ups lately. I use an Albuterol nebulizer, singular and go on steroid packs and antibiotics. I have use inhailers like Pulmicort and Breo which helps with less flair ups but currently I am uninsured

Bad Asthma Flare
Recently I've had a very severe asthma flare due to a cold and bronchitis. My question is Why am I having trouble breathing and hurts to breath but yet my stats on the oximeter say 99%? Am really having trouble understanding this. I was put on prednisone 40 mgs for 5 days then dropped, plus doing nebulizer

Ineffective cough with bronchiectasis
Mum is living with bronchiectasis but has a very poor cough mechanism due to damage sustained through radiotherapy. Does anyone use any equipment/gadgets that can help bring up mucous from chest? She's getting more chest infections of late. We're doing daily physio, nebs, suction but it's still not doing
