Hi I'm new to this site and have just spent an hour reading some of the posts. I suffer with mild asthma but the query is related to my 3 year old son. A brief history.. I took him to my GP about 8 months ago with cold like symptoms and wheeziness - listened to chest and said it was viral and gave antibiotics

How do i get my 2 year old to use inhaler?
My two year old has been given an inhaler with a spacer after a trip to A+E with wheezing, gasping shortness of breath and a terrible cough. The doctor was not happy to say it was definitely asthma but we have an inhaler to use over the next week. Neither in hospital or at home have we had any success

What comes next?
I am feeling very anxious right now. My 4 year old daughter had a bronchial lavage and a bronchoscopy this past week. This is her second one. According to our consultant's at Addenbrookes and Prof Bush from the RBH, she is on the maximum doses of all of her medications and she is nowhere near under control

Nebulisers - should I get one/how do Doctor's feel about having them at home?
Hi All, I would like to hear your thoughts and advice if I should buy a nebuliser and how you have discussed with your GP's in the past. My son is nearly 3 and started having wheezy attacks from about 8 months - very scary and worrying, but we handled it with Salbutmol inhaler and Atrovent inhaler

Spacers for kids, exercise induced asthma in kids
Hi, I just wanted to ask what type of spacers your kids are using? We are living in America and my daughter who is 5 was given a smallish tube where she has to take one deep breath and then keep her mouth closed for ten seconds, she found it really hard to do one good breath and so I was giving her all

Flying nebulisers!!
I am flying down to london next month, I am assuming that there should be no problems to take my nebuliser and nebules on the flight, however, I have emailed British Airways three times and upto now had no reply. I flew back in June with no problems however I am unsure whether there have been any changes
