APS and vaccines
I just read an article that swears APS is linked to the tetanus vaccine. Is this true or a conspiracy theory?

Does anyone has problems with walking because of gait freezing, i.e freezing suddenly while walking. My husband had DBS done for the freezing problem. The dr who operated on him said that it has to be programmed different way, not as for dyskenesia. But unfortunately the dr who is doing his programming

Shingles and fucidin
I have shingles since 24th Dec. Some are still weeping on my back despite being treated with Acicllovir. My GP has prescribed Fucidin today. When I applied it the shingles have become redder and stinging. I saw on one website that Fucidin is not recommended for shingles. Advice please.

Take my pain away, P-L-E-A-S-E!!!!
I had a stroke when I was 50 (hole of my heart - now closed). I am fine, with some little frustration but I really would like the government to have funding for DBS which would take my hemiplegic pain away!! From my hair of my head to the toes of the foot on my right sided of my body, the pain I have

Long term side effects of Listeria Meningitis and the DWP
Not quite sure how to word this. I had meningitis in 2005. Initially suffered total memory loss, spent 10 weeks in hospital, had to learn to walk/breath etc again. And couldn't and still cannot remember a lot of things. I, for this day cannot remember the affection for the girlfriend I had at the time

Neonatal Bacterial meningitis at 3 days
Hi all,My daughter was diagnosed with acute bacterial meningitis 3 days after birth. Was in ICU for 2 weeks and then discharged. She is now 4 months old and is hitting all the developmental milestones for her age. QN: At which month can a Paed authoritatively know if the baby didn't get any side effects

Fatigue four years post viral meningitis
Hi there, I had viral meningitis on October 2012. I am currently working full time in the education area. I am experiencing some crushing fatigue and brain malfunctioning at different times. Usually when I am not so busy so the adrenaline doesn't keep me going. I have suffered chronic migraines post

Meningitis.
I was only 17 when I was diagnosed, to others this may not mean much to others. But for me it means the last 4 years I've lost a social life, friends and relationships because of meningitis. My symptoms are recurring, daily headaches, vomiting, hot/cold flushes, I even suffer with being deaf in one ear

Shingles?
HI, I was diagnosed with PMR over a year ago and have been doing very well with very slow reductions of pred. I have felt very well in myself. I now have a pain in my back. Waist height, right hand side. A niggle for a few days, then it became much worse. A deep dull constant ache, not sharp. It

Bacterial meningitis sufferer
I am now home resting from a bout of bacterial meningitis. I was in the hospital for 8 days. They said if I hadn't come in the day I did I would have died the next day! Great news to hear! This happened after a few surgeries on my back which included putting in and taking out a spine pain pump. This
