Natural remedies to help the pain
Anyone have any luck with any essential oils, supplements, diets or anything else to help aliviate the pain. I'm desperate. Tylonal and ibuprofen are not helping. Heat pack helps temporarily.

Hi I am new
I have Parkinsons desease since 1996 (at the age of 32), I had DBS in 2013 which resulted in a drama. I wonder if anybody knows if there is a trouble shooting clinic in Europe for people like me? It's very expensive to go to the United States . I live in the Netherlands.

DBS Surgery
I am considering the DBS surgery, as I am now taking 8 (25/100) Sinemet and 1 (50/200) Extended Release Sinemet each day. I live alone and wonder if that would be a problem. Would love to hear from folks that have had this surgery. Thanks!

To anyone who has/or has had/ a brain Tumour.
A CT scan for memory problems showed up a brain tumour about three weeks ago. Neurologist report, says: " a CT scan of the brain shows a low density lesion in the left frontal region with surrounding oedema. High on the differential is a tumour and I am therefore arranging for a MI Scan of his body."

2nd CT
This morning I went to the hospital to have a CT done for the sinuses as per the ENT doctor recommendation to see where the back at the throat bleeding stems from. As some of you might be aware, Ive already had a head CT done 7 months ago and am worried that although the radiologist mentioned it's a

"I had an autoimmune disease. Then the disease had me."
This New Yorker article from a few years ago showed up in my inbox today. Some may have seen it already but, like me, may enjoy revisiting it. It may be new for others. A Hashimoto's sufferer, she writes eloquently and insightfully about life with autoimmune disease. Apparently, she has since been

DBS and Falls
First Post here. My wife was diagnosed in 2006 and had DBS in 1/2015. Shortly thereafter she began experiencing falling where she had not had the problem before the DBS. I am becoming increasingly convinced the falls (several per day) are somehow directly related to the DBS or the placement of the

DBS DOESN'T SEEM TO WORK
My son, 56, diagnosed 7 years ago, suffered terribly with violent tremors and wild dyskinesia for the past few years. He was completely housebound, mostly bedridden, and suffered broken bones in dyskinetic falls. He was sent for discussion re: DBS 4 years ago, finally it was approved and bilateral

Memory Loss Post 2 Year Meningitis
I was diagnosed with viral meningitis in Oct 2014. In hospital for 3 nights. I've only had 1 or 2 follow up appointments since. I had a lingering headache that occurred almost every day for a year. These have subsided unless I have nights with little sleep Now I'm starting to find myself forgetting

Is their any link between endo and epilepsy and/or brain tumours?
Hi beautiful ladies! I'm recovering well from my lap, and having a lot of down time to research my recent diagnosis has led me to ask a few questions... As a child I had severe seizures for many years. It was later found that a benign brain tumour on my right frontal part of my brain was triggering the

Viral Meningitis from West Nile
I'm new to this group, and am so happy I found this site. I had VM from West Nile 17 months ago, and even though I am so much better I still have fatigue, headaches, fuzzy head, confusion, memory problems, etc., enough so that I have been unable to return to work. I am in the US, and have not been able

I am 85 yrs old but very active and enjoying life, up 'til now. Have had slight memory problems and my GP suggested I had a memory test.
