HELP ME
Firstly why do you think you have the symptoms of a brain tumour? Have you been looking up Dr google?
Unlikely scan would miss anything it is specifically looking for.
Have you spoken with your GP about your worries?
Has he given any reason for your symptoms?

Blood tests will put your mind at rest.
They are the best way to tell what is going on.

Can you please tell me all of your symptoms? Even if they seem minor to you. I need to know them all. And have you had any Pryor illnesses? Are you on any medication at the time? Or have you stopped any medication within the last 6 months? Have you had any accidents within the last year? And are you under any stress?
I have a stabbing pain in my head a lot but it only lasts a couple of seconds, I've always had bad headaches but this isn't a headache it is a stabbing pain in my head. My back has been hurting for the last couple of months and that pain shoots down my leg and it hurts so bad some days I can barely stand and sit with wanting to cry. Sometimes I get nerve pain in my right pointer finger and it like shocks me and I drop whatever was in my hands. Lately my memory has been really off I can't seem to remember anything or concentrate on my work, also my head is swollen. I don't have any Pryor illnesses, yes I take Lexapro, Clonidine, topamax, and a muscle relaxer medicine. No I haven't had any accidents and yes I am under stress but the usual trying to do good at school stress.
Hi I'm so sorry it took me so long to get back to you . But needed to do a little research. Can you please tell me why you are on the clonopine ? Is it for high blood pressure or ADHD? And the Lexapro is that for your Anxiety or for depression or both? And the topimax is that for your migraines or seizures ? Because I think you have sciatica which not only can affect your back hip and legs it can cause shooting nerve pain down into your arms or hands which will make you automatically jerk and drop whatever your holding.it is very painful and can make you want to cry! Have you been seen by a ear/nose/throat doctor? About the headaches and the shooting pain. And weird thing but next time you get that pain try a little test for me hold your nose and close your mouth and blow and try to pop your ears? Just let me know what happens? Ok? Best of luck! Waiting for your response.
I take clonidine for adhd, lexapro is for both, topimax is for headaches. No I have never seen a ears/nose/throat doctor. Also I tried popping my ears like you said but morning happened so it didn't really help.
Well I can tell you I would get of the topimax as soon as possible. I can't believe there giving you that with all your symptoms?the most common side affects of this drug are anxiety/ lack of consintration/ headaches/ depression/ memory impairment/mood changes/ weakness/ you need to look under drugs.com under summary of topimax side affects. Asked everyone about it there first response to me was!! Oh god don't take that!! I said I'm not! Someone I'm talking to is !? They all advised me to tell you to get off of that and the clonidine? Absolute crap!!! You don't need that ! Had my son on it! Worst 2 months of my life! Cryed all the time!! Until one physiatrist told me he doesn't believe there is a thing called ADHD. Told me that's what Drs and physiatrists say when they have no other reason for your thinking problems or for your reactions to things in life. He said it all boils down to something else. There just to lazy to figure it out. !! We put him on amitriptyline. Noticed a difference in him within 1 hour took away his anxiety his sleeping was great he started laughing again . He was able to think more calmly and before he would just get frustrated and upset and complain about headaches and pressure in his head. And I cannot believe they have not got you into a ear nose and throat specialist??? Omg!! You have a inner ear problem! I just know it! Those pains in the head and the headaches I got years and months before the shooting pains started. We found out I have nerve damage behind my one eye to my ear! Which would cause my head to have weird sudden shooting pains and feel like my head was swollen . Have you tried toradol? If not I would suggest asking your doctor to place you on amitriptyline and toradol! I bet that will make you feel like a different person? And don't be afraid to tell your dr what you want!! It's your body! I don't care if they have a piece of paper saying there a doctor!! Nobody knows your body better than you!! Take charge!!!
I have read some of the other posts here. There is the possibility that you have muscle behaviour problems. Worth seeing a chiropractor to check for pressure on nerve roots. Worth taking up yoga in a class. This will enable you to learn about how your muscles function and network with other health conscious people.
Have a chat with your local pharmacist about your drug taking regime. Pharmacists are trained to know more about drugs than doctors.
Have a look at your sleep regime are you getting enough sleep?
Hope this will prove helpful?
